    I know you get into that kind of stuff, but I don’t, and really don’t care what stats determine how good a team is playing. That’s good for you, but as a I’ve stated many times it’s the W-L record that decides who gets in, and it’s the W-L record that decides who wins, and I just don’t need to go any deeper than that. You don’t score enough, and you don’t win, and when you score enough you do win, and that’s as far as I go, and need to go. Did I tell you about an NBA coach who felt better because even though they lost the series analytics said they won?

    He’s had a good run, and a lot can happen between now, and Oct, but I’d be very surprised if he was the starting SS come postseason.

    Emma is the leading of announcer for the Sea Dogs for some time now. I thought it was a good break from the Yuckers OB, and Merloni as it was last week when Monaco filled in for OB. Also Middlebrooks over Merloni any day.

    I fully understand that, and if he isn’t resigned, and depending on what happens next year labor wise you might not even get a full one, and done out of him, and you gave up some high immature assets to get him.

    Run differential may be the leading indicator of W-L, but W-L is still what counts the most. Run differential doesn’t decide who goes to the postseason, or who wins the postseason. W-L record does. I go back to this past NNA season when a losing coach said analytically they won the series. I repeat the Losing coach said that like it counted, or something. W-L will always count the most.

    The here, and now is why Rut Man is here at the moment. If he stays that will be decided later as will if he was worth the Immature Assets they traded for him.

    Story isn’t ready to play yet, and a lot could happen between now, and when he is. At any rate that will be up to Brez, and Tracy if, and when he plays.

    When you are last in the league in runs scored even with the good pitching you were what your record says you were. On paper they wasn’t that bad, and on paper they are not this good now, and that’s why the game isn’t played on paper. The league is also just as weak now since they’ve been winning as it was when they were losing. Wide open.

    It was pretty easy to understand why the Red Sox got to a low of 14 games under 500 when they were last in HR, and runs scored, but now that has changed, and they are on a Big surge. The Red Sox have hit HR in 74 games this year. The Red Sox are 51-23 in those games, and 26-1 in their latest surge in the win column.

    Sometimes players get exposed the more they play, but so far it hasn’t happened with the makeshift MI.👏

    It just seems that most of the injured have taken not just longer, but a Lot longer to come back after being injured than what was first reported, or expected.

    What worries me some is the medicals were the hold up, and if the Red SOX medical staff gave the OK.

    I agree that games played will determine a lot, and if he can be resigned.

    MLB network was discussing the Rut Man, and what they were discussing is that Rut Man isn’t the same player he was his first 2-3 years, and maybe not staying healthy may have something to do with it. We don’t know about rentals yet, and that will depend on what kind of season happens next year, and if the Red Sox can resign Rut Man. Even if the Red Sox don’t limit Tolle, and Bennett they may limit themselves results with this being their first heavy workload.

    Right now I would say for this year it will depend on how much they get out of the Rut Man, and how much he actually plays. Mead was pretty much an unknown after going from team to team, and all of a sudden hit 17 HR. INC for me now with neither on the field.

    More than justified for all the criticism, and bashing they got, and just as justified for all the accolades they are getting now. What have you done for me lately, and the here, and now at its best.

    One of the worst teams I’ve ever seen play. Now it’s the best team I’ve ever seen play. What team will show up in October?🤔
