  1. I agree they are not going to send Dubin down, and nor should they at this early juncture. I don’t expect much from Dubin anyway as I’ve said since the Red Sox traded for him, because he was just a cheap settle anyway. I didn’t expect him to be this bad though. Mayer is still a Suspect, and little Anthony is playing like one on both sides of the ball. Not hitting has led to losses though, and they all count, and add up even in Mar-April.
  2. This makes NO sense at all this early in the season especially.
  3. It’s pretty good for the batter when you can go 1-5 and your average goes up. Hovering around 100 is not a good look at all, but Durbin was down to 093.🤭🙈🤮
  4. So things are bad pretty much all throughout baseball, which makes the Red SOX lifeless start look even worse, so we agree.👏
  5. How about the significant deals #12 made at the trade deadlines? That’s right my bad he hasn’t made any.🤭
  6. He’s grinding just to keep his BA above 100 at the moment.
  7. His BA will come around to what? He’s still a settle.
  8. What, wha, wha. Yes all you say can be true, and especially in Boston. Right now little Anthony looks like he’s not ready to live up to all the hype you, and others have thrown his way, and not the same player who came up last year. Looks like he doesn’t even want to play taking three strikes down the middle of the plate to start a recent game, and not to mention his little League arm. His luster has worn off in a hurry. Hopefully he gets it back sooner than later.
  9. Yes posters have tried talking Durbin up on here since the Red Sox traded for him. It wasn’t like Durbin put up eye popping numbers last year, and I don’t care where he ranked in the ROY voting even if he won. Durbin was a settle for 3B. He’s not as bad as he’s hitting now, but who knows how good he can be. Time will tell.
  10. The question at the time, and still is was Ranger the right pitcher to go long on?
  11. I don’t think RAF Man was in high demand, and Bres probably was asking too much.
  12. Sooner, or later this will work themselves out hopefully. It’s not like Duran is tearing up the baseball. I don’t see any trades happening now outside of an injury. Duran’s rumors were for pitching last year, or an infielder this year, but didn’t happen. I don’t think he would have been traded for suspects, or just to open up a spot.
  13. Mayer is still pretty suspect with the bat.
  14. Always trying to polish something that polish doesn’t stick to.🤮👋
  15. The Red Sox have got to take baby steps like win the next game, and then win a few more, and then get to 500 before they start talking playoffs, which seems a long way off at the present time. Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs?
  16. Con Man skipped the media a few nights except for last night when he had his own fish to fry. Seems like Anthony has turned out to be one of the spokesmen lately good, or bad.
  17. Disfunction it is, and if the Red Sox lose another game tonight with Cro Man on the mound, and look like a Little League team doing it JH will hear a lot more of sell the team and maybe do more than roll his eyes this time.
  18. Ah 3.5 your favorite number today. 3.5 in itself is not that big a number especially with 150 games left, but having to climb over every other team in the league makes it a harder situation to do.🤔
  19. I agree, and I agree with Fred’s cheap thinking analysis even though the payroll itself may say something different.
  20. I think it was more about not wanting to pay then forgetting.
  21. Home opener for the Sea Dogs today, but it’s snowing in Portland at the moment.
