    HR, and RBI produce runs, which I agree leads to wins. getting on base is always nice before a HR, but lots of guys who get on base don’t end up scoring, where a HR does EVERY time. You guys can keep your OPS, and I’ll keep my HR, and RBI.

    Final stats 2026, and what’s needed for 2027. DUBin. 13 HR- 64 RBI Raffy. 37 HR-98 RBI Bregman. 28 HR-93 RBI Con Man. 27 HR-81 RBI Alonso. 43 HR-113 RBI The Red SOX were 23rd in runs, and 26th in HR, With 23 less HR than last year, , 18th in OPS. Seems like the Red Sox were on the short end of what they could have had. I know you guys are hung up on OPS, but HR, and RBI actually go on the scoreboard, and count. Raffy, Bregman, or Alonso in some kind of combination could have been on the team this year. For 2027 the Red Sox will still be looking for more HR, and RBI.🤔

    The BS Sam, and the other 2 stooges were spewing at the presser the other day that i didn’t watch, so i don’t know where an impeachable source would come from, or be needed, and I was just asking things I had heard some guys talk about.

    I’ve said many times on here that 1967 was, and is my favorite Red Sox team of all time. Yaz was the old man at 28, and the rest were mostly young, and homegrown. Tony C who came up at 19 was the youngest to hit his 100th Homer at that time, and was only 22 when he got beaned.

    My favorite Red Sox of all time. Some down him, because he didn’t win a WS, but no other Red Sox team since most likely wouldn’t have been Gibson in 67, or The Big Red Machine in 75 after having to beat the 3 time champion A’s to get to The Big Red Machine.

    Schwarber really took off the next year. JD, and money most likely were the main reasons, and the Red Sox ended up with Story for $40M+ more.🙈

    I heard Brez was bragging the other day how 7 Red Sox players this year upped their HR totals Good, but the Red Sox ended up with 23 less HR than the year before. No one on the Red Sox hit more than Bregman, and certainly not Alonso.🤔

    I heard a tidbit today that the Red Sox didn’t go after Schwarber when they had him was, because the geeks with the projections projected that Bobby D Would hit as many HR as Schwarber, and. Bobby D was a cheaper way to go.

    I don’t play who the Red Sox should get name game too often. I said the Red Sox should’ve signed Jan#en a few years ago, which the Red Sox did a year later, and this past offseason I said the Red Sox should sign Flintstone, and Alonso. What’s wrong with any of that. You on the other hand.🤔

    Well said. Good clubhouse guy, and you didn’t hear anything bad about him except on here as some said he was a good enough SS for them.

    Well he’s not, and he hasn’t exactly worked out to well for Detroit.

    If DD would have given say 25 per year instead of 20 when he signed that 6 year extension with the opt out his contract would have been up after the 2025 season.

    Yes DD messed up IMO with the original 6 year extension.

    Oh no! Not lambasted! Is that the same Chris Sale the Red Sox gave to Atlanta along with $17M to win a CY for a suspect who couldn’t even win the 2B, because the Red Sox had so many other good candidates there.🤭
