    I don’t believe in WAR, and I don’t think you need any analytics to tell you what kind of year Duran had. The only question is whether, or not he’ll come back next year, or this is what he is now. Trade him, and find out.

    Well said. Both Alonso, and Schwaber were out there last, but the Red Sox didn’t want to spend the money. Schwaber probably was going back to Philly, but Alonso was definitely in play except the Red Sox decided to play hard ball, and lowball with him. P&P players got you into the postseason, but only for a failed cameo appearance.

    ND plugging along underfeated, but not excited yet. At BYU in a couple of weeks, and then Miami a couple of weeks later will be the test on how good they really are.

    Good read it was, and as I posted the other day in JH first 7 years of ownership the Red Sox averaged 90 wins a year, and 2 WS among other things. The last 8 years the Red Sox have averaged 76 wins, and are now popping champagne corks after backing into the postseason in a very weak league. LOW bar all the way around.

    Wow! More charges, and accusations. Seriously though thank you for all the kind words, and accolades. I’ll keep working hard, and keep coming up with names, and slogans that fit the situations. Tracy definitely deserves some recognition for his underwhelming performance in his brief cameo appearance during the postseason. Bad Chad, or maybe Spacey Tracey. We’ll see. As for little Anthony maybe the Red Sox should trade him to the Marlins. He’s already spent a lot of time in Florida this past season so that should have helped him get used to the weather. You know when the Red Sox sent him there wink, wink to just rehab. Anyway always nice chatting with you. Have a good day, and football you bet!🙃

    Good post. I agree with some, but not much. Outside of the 27-3 run the Red Sox were not an exciting club, or even a good club. Yes Crochet was lost, but if you’re referring to little Anthony as the most important offensive player I strongly disagree there. He had plenty of hype, and expectations, but those don’t always pan out as this one didn’t. Agree on the playoffs were dreadful, but from all the fans I talked too, and heard on the airwaves most of pissed on how Tracy handled the pitching decisions, and don’t care who the game plan came from it was Tracy who made the actual moves being a puppet, or not. I said before the season the Red Sox took the cheaper way out, and we’d see how things would work out. bresLOW lowballed Alonso, and went to a cheaper option in Con Man. He lowballed Bregman to start with, and then negotiations fell apart from there, and went to a much cheaper option in DUBin. Then we get to the 5 inning $130M man who was turned to after Bregman bolted, which was cheaper, and didn’t even pitch 1 inning in the postseason. A defeating end to a torturous season I Agee. Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs?
