    Given up yet? I really haven’t even started. I say the same thing around this same time every year that the Red SOx are on the back burner to me, because there is to much else going on. March Madness just finished, and the Bruins, and Celtics will be starting the playoffs soon not to mention the NFL draft, so I haven’t watched much of the Red Sox. I have to rely on some of the objective posters on here like Fred to keep me informed of what’s going on outside of looking at the box scores, but when I get into really watching I’ll let you know. Are the Red Sox as bad a team as their record suggests??? Most likely not, but at the moment by all accounts they look worse.

    I heard an interview with the Sea Dogs manager today talking about Mayer, and he said even though he played Mayer more at SS when he was at Portland he thought Mayer would be a better 3B.

    I already have. The Red Sox are dysfunctional, and unreliable, which is predictable. I answer how I want to, and not how you want me to. Worst record in all of baseball, and behind EVERY OTHER team in the league for any postseason spot. It seems you can’t handle the truth.

    The Fact is we are not 3.5 games behind looking okay, and things looking worse by the day. In other words DUP. Disfunction, Unreliable, and Predictable.

    Agree. The record at 2-8 is bad enough, but how they’ve looked doing it looks even worse.

    Let’s remember they had Anthony out before a game last year after he was called up teaching him how to field ground balls in the outfield.

    It seems once again the Little League kids that Cora does commercials with snuck on the field to play D for the Red SOx. Bad throws, pitches not backing up bases again and just bad fundamental baseball, which we’ve seen many times before. That’s on Cora.🙈

    I didn’t see the game last night, but it looks like the boys actually hit something with their bats last night. On the other hand the pitching, and D pretty much sucked, and another loss ensued. What’s up with Anthony? Seems like he’s developed Johnny Damon arm.

    152 games to go, and the Red Flops as Fred calls them on on pace for 120+ losses, and since the Red Flops has the worst record in all of baseball that means EVERY TEAM in the league is ahead of them in any standings you want to look at. Come on man!🤮

    It will be interesting to see if Masa is in the lineup tonight after getting 3 hits yesterday, or if he’ll be back on the bench. Abreu needs to move up in the order. Story needs a timeout, or two.

    I’m more worried about Story’s glove than his bat as Story started off slow last year, and then picked things up with the bat.He’s had long stretches before of not hitting, and lots of K’s, so I don’t think Cora is to worried yet. It seems I mentioned something before the season that Story batting second didn’t work out so well before, and he needs to move down the order more at the very least.

    I was all for Story to move to 2B after last season, but I think the Red Sox didn’t have any faith in Mayer being a full time player yet due to his injury problems. I am surprised Story hasn’t had a day off yet, which maybe will come today.

    You can write Alonso, and Bregman off if you like if it makes you feel better about the Boston players , but they don’t play for BOston.

    I take it it’s not good, so this shows how bad the Red Sox have really bad out there.

    Congrats to the 2026 Boston Red Sox that it only took them 9 games, and go 2-7, which they now have the worst record in baseball, and all to themselves. What makes you feel better that the Red SOx will go on a run, and get back to 500 Breslow’s interview with the Yuckers on NESN yesterday, or Cora saying we’ve got to play better for the endless amount of times?🤔

    Yes Duran did get a lot of ink on here for his power output in ST/WBC. How do you like me now?🤫

    Cora said yesterday right now the Red Sox prefer Duran’s defense over Anthony, and that Anthony’s footwork is off. Remember after Anthony’s first game in Boston last year they had him out in the outfield teaching him how to field ground balls. Not a good sign that the Red Sox prefer Duran over Anthony in the outfield. Sounds like Roman The Great still might be a little suspect.🤔 Masa even scheduled to play LF today over Anthony who is DH.

    Weather does not look good today in Boston, so I’d be surprised any game is played.

    It’s only been 8 games, but as of right now the Red Sox at 2-6 have the worst record in all of baseball tied with the A’s, and Rockies. Getting to 500 at the moment looks like a BIG challenge let alone trying to catch the Yankees.🤔

    Yes LF again for Duran. Cora has already come out, and said Duran is not going to be a full time DH.🤔
