  1. All the focus? K’s, and runners in scoring position BA is a focus to me. Draw names out of a hat.
  2. All this focus on the BO like that’s a big problem. 15k’s the other day wasn’t, because of the BO, but the batters themselves. You can get all the geeks, and nerds together all you want, or just draw names out of a hat that could give you the same results.
  3. Woulda, coulda, shoulda. Like I said more than once after the Red Sox did all their fancy maneuvers to fill out their roster is that they SETTLED, and now we have to see how it all plays out, and if it is good enough.
  4. But yet Cora puts him in the field in the 3rd game of the season.
  5. Yea Yoshida is the gift that keeps on giving. Seems like he’s going to get plenty of playing time too.
  6. As we all know your reputation has preceded you many times, and when you get giddy things have turned s*****. It’s not a gift, but a curse.🤔
  7. Very misleading on some. After you touted Mayer, and Anthony going 5-6 on opening day they’ve gone 2-16 since.
  8. Masa in LF is no surprise to me. I said a few weeks ago Masa was not going to take up a roster spot just as a backup DH. Masa is also scheduled to play 3 out of the next 5 games. 🤔
  9. Ceiling? Maybe Fred Lynne’s caddie.🤔
  10. Not until he stops being a suspect. Seems like his work ethic up through the system wasn’t all that great either, but his natural talent got him through, but needs more than that to produce in Boston. By all reports he hasn’t been approached about a contract extension one of the few that hasn’t.
  11. That may be all well, and good, but Mayer’s work ethic has been questioned by more than one in the organization, and that’s why Cora has been pushing him, nd that’s why he has to earn it.
  12. Good pitching. Finally some timely hitting, and a good opening day win. Also good to see MM come in, and get a couple of hits today.
  13. Cora had already come out, and said Mayer would be platooning with IKF. Old news now.
  14. Batting orders used to mean something, but since the geeks, and nerds have taken over they don’t mean much anymore IMO.
  15. First he’s got to produce, and find his way back up to Boston. Then even if he produces at Woo it’s trades, or injury to get him there.
  16. Yes they are, but none of the other regulars will catch up.
  17. AH, but many others have. Of course he is getting older.
  18. Well said. According to a Woo broadcaster I heard in an interview the other day that KC was pretty messed up when he was sent back to WOO, and it took him quite a while before he started hitting. He also looked pretty bad at 1B. As the broadcaster said KC was rushed, and it not only backfired, but set KC back a year that he still hasn’t recovered from. Now it looks like he’s strictly OF, so he has even less options for a job.
  19. Not everyone moons over Suspects. Some wait to they actually produce in a big league uniform.
  20. Casas is still SUSPECT. Mayer is still a SUSPECT, and KC has to improve again to be a SUSPECT. All 3 can go either way.🤔
