  1. When Bregman comes back Mayer will most likely move to 2B if they go through with the KC experiment at 1B. Surprisingly I agree with the rest.🤫
  2. If the Red Sox are still floundering around the 500 mark come trade deadline Chapman could be good trade bait to like he’s been before.
  3. I get what you’re saying, but the difference is trading Abreu for some badly needed pitching, and replacing Abreu with Anthony may make the team better. Of course that would depend if there was any trade out there for Abreu in the first place that would be worth it to do it.
  4. Roster construction has been keeping Mayer, and Anthony down in Woo, because Brez doesn’t know how to manipulate the roster to get them to Boston. It took an injury to Bregman to get Mayer in Boston otherwise he’d still be a Woo with Anthony. Masa is still in exile collecting his $18M, because Raffy now has his spot at DH. Once again roster construction. Everyone has been clamoring for Anthony, and Mayer for some time, because they are deemed to be ready, but Brez it seems doesn’t know how to get them there. Call it what you want.
  5. No doubt the lineup is not as good without Bregman, and then it would depend what kind of production Anthony would give to offset Abreu. No doubt the Red Sox need some starting pitching to can go more than 5 innings to give the BP a break. With Bregman, and Abreu in the lineup the Red Sox have hovered around the 500 mark as it is.
  6. I can’t believe Brez didn’t act on one of the dozens of suggested Abreu trades you threw out there. I guess he doesn’t like cooking spaghetti.🤔
  7. I get all the hoopla, and anticipation of getting all the next big things namely Mayer, and Anthony up in Boston, but it seems the Red Sox just don’t feel the urgency, and need to do so. It seems Brez is looking for that old third option in the fork in the road that has been prevalent in Boston for the last 3-4 years. Bregman getting hurt got Mayer up, but Brez seems stuck on what to do next to get Anthony up. Some don’t like to hear it, but the roster construction thing is real. Just ask Masa.
  8. There are no more room for Any More N’s on your helmet.
  9. Of course you don’t Have a derogatory attitude against those who view the game differently than you, and don’t need, or care about all the newer metrics, and just stick to the old school stats, which is good enough for them, and turn the derogatory bells, and whistles on when they get mentioned.🤭🙈
  10. I’ve heard some of your tailspins. Raffy being a bad teammate, because he makes to many errors. Raffy being insubordinate when Cora never has told Raffy to go to 1B. You can say Brez wanted it, and he’s Cora’s boss, but it appears JH sided with Cora who’s Brez’s boss, so NO insubordination.
  11. Boston just wanted Devers to go from 3B to 1B? Boston? That was Brez. Cora said NO, and it appears JH sided with Cora, so saying Boston is not all correct.
  12. The funny thing is that you think you’re complaining about me, but what you haven’t figured out is that you’re really complaining about Brez, and Cora, because what you just said the Red Sox are actually doing. Glad you finally got it. All aboard!👋🤭
  13. Yes, that’s the word on the street that Raffy was signed to the contract he was signed to as a 3B. Would he have been signed for that much money if he wasn’t? You, and others have complained about his bad D at 3B for at least 3 years now, and finally he got moved to DH, and he was told to put his glove away. Just, because Casas got hurt now you want Raffy to pick his glove back up, and learn a new position on the fly.l and no I wouldn’t think Raffy would want to embrace the chance to learn a whole new position during the season no less. I never thought Raffy would be a good 1B, and I don’t believe Cora does either, and that’s to me the MAIN reason Cora hasn’t even approached Raffy about doing it. I don’t see much slack being picked up at the moment either, and that’s on management. If Bregman doesn’t get hurt Mayer is still at Woo with Anthony, and still MASA IS in exile. Yes roster construction. No s***.👋
  14. Ah, another drone up with Raffy’s name on it. Raffy has been an Allstar, because of his bat, and not , because of his glove. At the rate he’s going now he’ll be an allstar again, because of his bat. The ones whom seem to be pouting are the ones who think Raffy should be at 1B. Raffy has given his answer to 1B, Cora has given his answer about 1B, and finally is a roundabout way JH has given his answer about 1B. If the Red Sox had been in such a hurry to get Anthony, and Mayer before the injury to Bregman up they would have both been up before.
  15. Leave Anthony right where he is.
  16. I disagree on that one. I don’t think the Red Sox gave RAF Man the contract they did to be a sub, or platoon player. RAF Man doesn’t have to hit as good as the other OF, because his glove, and his arm are worth something, so I don’t think it’s as obvious as you, and others think, and suggest.
  17. And the beat goes on.🤭😂🤮
  18. It sounds pretty Suspect to me, but we’ll give him a few more games to figure things out.
  19. Nope can’t argue about his fielding %, and couldn’t argue about his batting average either if he had one.🤫
  20. How Bregman is looking has nothing to do with what you have for a backup short term, or long term. If you are happy with Sogard, and Toro I guess there is no problem, but there seems to be many complaints about those two, and Romy. Raffy was not in the equation as a backup either.
  21. Having something better than all those A guys you mentioned should have been the easiest thing to do. Learning a new position on the fly isn’t. Playing guys out of position isn’t either. Once again Bad roster construction.
  22. Are you just coming to the conclusion that Raffy won’t be playing two infield positions. That has been decided for sometime now, and one longer than the other, but you, and others just won’t accept, and you figure if you keep droning on long enough Raffy, and Cora will change their mind. Cora said back in ST after Raffy was moved to DH that he would NOT be the backup 3B. Then when Casas got hurt Cora said he hadn’t talked to Raffy about going to 1B, and said he wasn’t going to. JH flew to KC not to talk to Raffy about 1B IMO, but to soothe things over with Raffy, so he wouldn’t ask to be traded. Cora, and Raffy won out over Brez, and I believe JH backed that decision. You guys can call Raffy a bad teammate, diva, or subordinate all you want, but it’s not going to change things anytime soon.🤭
  23. Exactly! From setting records for futility to start the season to leading MLB in RBI is quite the ends of the spectrum.
  24. I didn’t even think that your recent suggestion of dropping Raffy down to the 4th spot had anything to do with it being a punishment, or a demotion. What I can’t seem to fathom is how you think that right now, and even up to now this season would give Raffy more RBI chances batting 4th. Your scientist doing the studies that you are relying on so much must have skipped the Red Sox so far this year. The Red Sox are the only team I’m concerned about, and not what the rest of the league is doing based on studies, and science. I doubt very much that Raffy would we leading all of baseball right now with 47 RBI if he had batted 4th all year. Just a spaghetti suggestion if there was one.👋
