  1. Are you just coming to the conclusion that Raffy won’t be playing two infield positions. That has been decided for sometime now, and one longer than the other, but you, and others just won’t accept, and you figure if you keep droning on long enough Raffy, and Cora will change their mind. Cora said back in ST after Raffy was moved to DH that he would NOT be the backup 3B. Then when Casas got hurt Cora said he hadn’t talked to Raffy about going to 1B, and said he wasn’t going to. JH flew to KC not to talk to Raffy about 1B IMO, but to soothe things over with Raffy, so he wouldn’t ask to be traded. Cora, and Raffy won out over Brez, and I believe JH backed that decision. You guys can call Raffy a bad teammate, diva, or subordinate all you want, but it’s not going to change things anytime soon.🤭
  2. Exactly! From setting records for futility to start the season to leading MLB in RBI is quite the ends of the spectrum.
  3. I didn’t even think that your recent suggestion of dropping Raffy down to the 4th spot had anything to do with it being a punishment, or a demotion. What I can’t seem to fathom is how you think that right now, and even up to now this season would give Raffy more RBI chances batting 4th. Your scientist doing the studies that you are relying on so much must have skipped the Red Sox so far this year. The Red Sox are the only team I’m concerned about, and not what the rest of the league is doing based on studies, and science. I doubt very much that Raffy would we leading all of baseball right now with 47 RBI if he had batted 4th all year. Just a spaghetti suggestion if there was one.👋
  4. Yes, I brought up the extra AB thing after your spaghetti suggestion on taking Raffy out of the 2 hole who now leads all of baseball in RBI all from the 2 hole.
  5. I was just getting ready to update. Not only leave Devers at DH, but suggestions to move him out of the 2 hole where he’s done all this damage was as wrong a time as it can be to even suggest it. OMG! OMG! 🤭🙈
  6. Devers is up to 43 RBI now, and only 1 RBI behind Judge for the league lead, and all from the 2 slot in the batting order, and your suggestion is to to move him down in the batting order. Please don’t put your suggestion in Cora’s suggestion box. On second thought do it. I’m sure Cora could use a good laugh.🤭🙈
  7. Exactly! Having a day for himself day in the 2 slot coming up with plenty on runners on base.
  8. Is Bello the new long guy, or the new opener?🤭
  9. Throwing things against the wall again to see what sticks? You’ve gone from batting Raffy 4th to now leadoff.🤭
  10. At present time, and up to now, which is what counts Bregman has more HR than Raffy. Bregman has gotten on base a lot, but so has Raffy batting ahead of him, so I just don’t see the suggestion of not only separating them in the BO, but moving Raffy down to 4th where in the very least May get 1 less AB in a game.
  11. You, and your sample size. At the moment all I care about what’s going on Right Now, and what has happened so far in the season. Raffy, and Bregman have the most RBI not only on the team, but are up near the top in the league as well. That has been in the 2-3 spots in the batting order. Since Raffy, and Bregman have driven in the most runs once again from the 2&3 spots in the BO I doubt the 4th spot has had as many chances, or runners on base to do so, so unless you have numbers to prove otherwise you don’t have anything to support your suggestion. Also if Raffy batted 4th as you suggested who’s going to protect him in the BO?
  12. And a lot of the Men on for Bregman most likely has been Raffy. Every batting order is different, so to rely on studies, or science to make out a batting order is just robotic nonsense IMO.
  13. Which Red Sox batter has come up with the most runners on base this year? My bet is on Bregman batting in the 3 hole, so with your science, and studies you want to move Bregman up to the 2 slot, and then bypassing the 3 slot where all those runners have been occupying the bases you want Raffy to skip number 3, and move down to the 4 slot. Your science may work with some batting orders, but how the Red Sox OB numbers have worked out so far this year I don’t see how that would work as good as your studies, and science would indicate.
  14. In other words Geeks, and Nerds have taken over.
  15. Oh no! Sheldon Cooper for Cora’s replacement for manager.👏👏👏
  16. Yes, but it just took them 3 years to get there, and this year hasn’t played out yet to see if they can do it two years in a row.
  17. I’m certainly no big Cora fan, but maybe the Red Sox could get someone from the Big Bang Theory to be the manager. Science, Science, Science.🤭
  18. I don’t know what Casas turned down for an extension, but that decision right now looks better for the Red Sox, but bad for him.
  19. Trusting science, and the studies? How robotic that is. Once again Cora doesn’t agree with you. Is this another one of those I don’t agree with Cora, but I don’t think he’s wrong things?
  20. I don’t see any Red Sox OF being offered any long term extension anytime soon since it doesn’t appear Anthony is interested.
  21. I agree, and that contract extension gives Cora extra cushion, and a long leash with JH.
  22. Bottom line IMO Raffy, and Bregman aren’t the problem in the lineup, or where they are batting.
