    If it’s good for the Rays why not the Sox? Really? No we can’t wait any longer to Judge if KC is nothing, but a SUSPECT, or not. You could wait longer in Tampa, but not Boston especially with all the hype you, and others have given these suspects.

    So the Red Sox are trying to pretty much lock up all the young guys like they did with Casas too.

    For the record Mayer is 4-20 with 6 k’s, and a .654 OPS.🤭

    Not having a good ST so far, and still with 2 weeks to go looking highly suspect. Mayer not looking all that great either so far.

    Either way as it stands right now Masa is healthy, and Casas most likely won’t be to start the season, but even if, and when he gets healthy as it stands now with an outfielder most likely rotating through the DH spot where would either Casas, or Masa get AB outside an injury or two.

    That’s true in MLB, but Bloom gave Masa that Contract for what he did in Japan hoping that would carry over to MLB. Casas has to work his way back, and has to produce, and I don’t know even then if he has the luxury of having a slow start even if he does get regular AB, which at the moment I don’t see that happening, or Masa either for that.

    Not at all. I think everyone knows what you’ll pretty much get out of Masa.

    Casas is a rare case. He’s not a suspect, but he is suspect.🤫

    I’d still like to see him in RF for the Red Sox, but not for the length, and amount he got as he turns 34 this season.

    You said yourself you’ve been calling for Devers moving to 1B for over 3-4 years. Have you introduced yourself to Cora yet? Does he not recognize you as one of his bench coaches?🤔😃

    Yes we’ve heard it 100 if not 1000 times over. Of course you suggest many things, and would make 9 moves when only 1 was really needed. Vaz wasn’t got enough to catch, Bogey wasn’t good enough to play SS, Casas isn’t good enough to play 1B, and on, and on. I can’t believe after all this time that Cora doesn’t listen to one of his bench coaches like yourself.🤔

    It may work out in the end this year, but as I’ve said more than once is that the Red Sox did a lot of settling this offseason.

    No I said he’s HAD his shot at 2B. You said he still might have a shot at 2B. Two entirely different things, and that’s why I disagreed.🤭

    I agree if all are going to get AB, but with one of the OF being the DH where is Masa going to get AB from? There are only 2 bench spots open, and only 1 with Romy, so just carrying Masa as a BACKUP DH just doesn’t make roster sense. Of course the $18M owed may make it more so.

    Disagree on KC at 2B. He had his shot there at least for the foreseeable future.

    Devers at 1B remains to be seen, but I agree on the Conversation with Devers.

    Yes after all Mayer may never make it to SS.

    I agree. Hopefully that extension will be worth it.

    I agree, and I’m all for the Story/Mayer swap, but only if Mayer is full time.

    It wasn’t just the 150 PA poor stretch, but the fact also that he didn’t work his way back up to Boston, which also was telling. He’s got a long way to go to be a very good hitter let alone a great one. Still suspect, and still a work in progress.

    I agree on hope that he becomes an impactful everyday player, but he’s still a suspect who might have been set back a year by rushing him last year, and bouncing all around the field trying to find a position for him. He’s still a work in progress and needs more time in Woo.

    Haters is a pretty strong word. I have no problem with Masa if he is the full time DH. What I have a problem with is if Masa is taking up a roster spot as a backup DH.
