  1. Your not bashing Cora for doing it, but you do think he’s wrong for doing it. What a vote of confidence. You’ve been against story having to play 2B since he was signed, so you do think Cora is wrong, but don’t dare to say it. Breaking news. Cora doesn’t go on here, and even if he did he wouldn’t care what you think.
  2. It all depends how many guys he leaves on base in those 7 k’s, and how many RBI he gets with those 3 bloop hits.
  3. Stats never tell the whole story of the final results. Sometimes certain stats would only be useful if put on a piece of paper, and used in the bathroom. How many stats. Do you need to tell you JBJ is not a good hitter?
  4. Grasp at as many straws, or stats as you can, but the only things that counts is results.
  5. Story is the 2B this year as much to your disagreement. Remember I trust Cora, and he knows what he is doing, and your famous statement of I don’t agree with what Cora is doing, but I don’t think he is wrong.
  6. There are not only legit reasons, but every reason to believe that JBJ will not hit, and not to mention that the Sox are paying him more money than they were before. Dalbec is dong the same thing as he did last year in the first part of the season. Don’t know if he will bounce back as he did last year, or if he will even get that chance. Franchy isn’t the answer, and I don’t think Casas is ready at the moment to be called up either.
  7. He is smooth as silk in the OF, but just has a big hole in his bat, and what makes it look worse at the moment is a lot of the other guys have holes in their bats too.
  8. Some posters on here said the reason JBJ couldn’t hit last year was because he was playing with a new team, in a different league, in a different park, and facing different pitchers. Really? So that must be the reasoning that he can’t hit this year too.
  9. So far Franchy has proved he can hit pitching in AAA, and so far he’s proved he can’t hit pitching in the Majors.
  10. The real Story Land usually opens up in late May. I hope the Red Sox Story Land opens up before then.
  11. The Red Sox tried to give the game away, but Baltimore wasn’t good enough to take it. Keep trying to go through the season without a closer, and they will lose more than they win in a closer situation.
  12. Might not have been a ER, but he did give up a game winning HR in Tampa.
  13. Timing is off from his rest yesterday.
  14. 2 Minor League looking offenses going at again tonight. Even Bogey’s not hitting.
  15. Sounds like Sheldon Cooper. Bazinga!
  16. Ok I’ll give you the entirety , but the majority of what I head on TV, Radio, and on here. I like Cora, and I think he’s a good manager for the most part, but I just don’t agree on resting players this early in the season when the team is floundering.
  17. We all understand your trust in Cora is the root of all this, and not so much looking out for Bogey’s best interest, but Red Sox Nation has spoken loud, and clear on this, and your opinion is in the minority, but even then it doesn’t mean you are wrong. Like I’ve said many times an opinion is just that, and no right, and wrong to it.
  18. They made the playoffs by just 1 game last year. I repeat they made the playoffs by 1 game last year, so yes EVERY game counts, and if Bogey needs a rest so bad like you seem to think he does then I’m sure he would tell Cora, so yes 9-11 is better than 8-12.
  19. You said you were a solid supporter on another thread. Kind of a flip flopper.
  20. Another one of your I don’t agree with Cora, but I don’t think Cora is wrong. Seems like I’ve heard that before. Some kind of supporter.
  21. Complain, complain, complain is the name of the game, and I don’t care how many championships somebody has won, or not won. How many championships has the Hoodie won with the Pats, and he gets complained about all the time. He doesn’t walk on water, and neither does Cora. If you give Cora all the credit for getting to the sixth game of the ALCS last year then he should share blame for being 8-12.
  22. These are all veteran hitters on this team, so I don’t think who the hitting coach is would be a big reason for the lack of offense. The team has been listless since opening day, and I blame Cora for that. There was no mention of the hamstring being a reason for resting Bogey, and if that would be panicking for not resting him even if planned then so be it, but I wouldn’t call it that, and it is just Cora being Cora just like resting Raffy the day before. You have an opinion, I have an opinion, and all of Red Sox Nation has an opinion, but in the end it’s Cora’s choice.
  23. Cora has gotten a lot more roasted today off this board for resting Bogey today, and they are not all grumpy old men types. Red Sox Nation has been loud, and not happy about it.
  24. In a one run game today the teams, and league’s hottest hitter could have made the difference, but only getting one AB instead of four we will never know. I don’t expect anyone to not miss a game, but if healthy one does not need to rest 20 games into the season.
