  1. Forget about 4 inning stints. I still say he should be the closer. How many times could he have been used since last weekend in Tampa? Instead he’s pitched just twice in wasted efforts to no fault of his own, and the Sox lost both games. If the team had a closer I would have a different opinion, but they don’t.
  2. You are right that there are all kinds of big money talent out there so far that is struggling big time to start the season.
  3. The RedSox deserved to lose this game today to a division opponent no less. On a day when JD couldn’t play, and Cora decided to rest the leagues hottest hitter when the team has been struggling to score as it is. We found out last year how important every game is in the standings whether in April, or October. One win decided making the post season last year, and finally to top it all off another wasted effort by Whitlock. Way to go Cora.
  4. That’s Texas problem. The Sox have enough problems of their own at the moment.
  5. Story land is still closed. Hope it opens soon.
  6. Well Bogey didn’t get a hit, but Cora didn’t want him running around anyways.
  7. There are not to many moves the Red Sox have made this off season that makes perfect sense you are right about that, and I agree.
  8. Hey Kike got his BA up to 200 today, so it looks a little better for a cleanup man. Way to go slugger.
  9. And they are the ones who need it most.
  10. John Henry has rabbit ears, so you you may be right.
  11. I don’t even think the Sox had a shot at signing Suzuki anyway.
  12. That team wasn’t ready to play, and this team came out of the gates pretty listless too.
  13. Is this another one of those Moon Statement times? I don’t agree with what Cora is doing, but I don’t think he’s wrong? Very astute.
  14. Here’s my question. If Whitlock had been the closer from day 1 do you think the Sox record would still be 8-11 as it is now?
  15. Ok. I’ve written it down, so we’ll see how close you are.
  16. Bottom line the Sox are 8-11, and need Bogey’s hot bat.
  17. Didn’t we get prospects?
  18. And nor should he at least for this year, and it looks like Cora who knows what he’s doing agrees.
  19. QUOTE=Maxbialystock;1460675]Cora knows what he is doing. Because he thinks Bogey has done to much running, and moving around for a 29 year old athlete? The team is 8-11, and need all the help they can get. Especially Bogey’s bat.
  20. I’m all for giving Bogey 6, but nothing more than that to take him into his late 30’s.
  21. I didn’t know you was doing the signing for some club.
  22. I don’t know if he will get more, but it’s going to be an interesting saga to see where he ends up, and for how much.
