  1. Could have been worse. Could have been a slammy.
  2. After tonight for the next 3 games Cora has to deal with no DH, so Schwaber will get more work at 1B, and JD in LF, which weakens the D even more.
  3. I’m not big on Schwaber as you know especially playing D, but Bobby D has regressed back to the bad Bobby D. Personally I would have gone back to last nights winning lineup, but we’ll see.
  4. You throw stats, and I throw facts. That’s the difference.
  5. That’s not even analyzing. That’s a fact.
  6. I’m counting the play in game, and then go from there.
  7. 1 down 5 more to go.
  8. Bloom didn’t have anything to do with the call. John Henry did, and it was the right call.
  9. His contract for next year keeps going up.
  10. Sometimes it’s right to go with your gut then try to crunch to many numbers, which is what baseball has turned into.
  11. I’ve never said anything about choking, but like I said don’t over analyze, and you’ll be alright. D U G O.
  12. Still scratching on Dugo?
  13. Let him start the 7th. He’s better than anyone in the pen.
  14. I can’t believe it a starting pitcher making through 6. A shaky 6th inning, but I’ll take it.
  15. Hopefully he’s starting one of his hot streaks.
  16. Stop over analyzing everything.
  17. You call hitting a solo HR in the second inning in a 0-0 is a clutch hit?
  18. The whole offense has pretty much bottomed out, and like Cora said last night lots of empty AB. Not a clutch hitter in the bunch.
  19. They will win tonight, because EO will have a good bounce back game, and nothing else.
  20. To much worrying about Schwaber not playing. Be fore he hit those 2 HR against a Mets pitcher he hits he had gone 13 games without a HR, and pounded out a 2-9 this past weekend against the Yankees.
  21. You are saying that those games listed were pressure packed games like this last Yankee series? Wow! And none of those games you listed will be no comparison to the games that is left to play.
  22. Put him at DH, which is the only place he belongs.
  23. No LF is not one of the most important D positions, but I don’t want JD out there either.
  24. When was there pressure on the Sox earlier this season, and that they played well under that pressure? The first 16 games against the Yankees were nothing like the last 3 games played last weekend. That was playoff atmosphere, and a lot different from the earlier games, and, because they lost all 3, it has made the next 5 with another lost last night all the more important, and now under more pressure than they have faced all year. Nothing to compare to earlier in the season.
  25. The D has been bad enough that you don’t need Fred Flintstone Schwaber in the field. LF, or 1B.
