  1. Boone over managed taking that pitcher out.
  2. Don’t think that the Sox games with Balt, and Washington are a lock especially finishing in a NL park.
  3. As much sense as who he brought in.
  4. Like I said earlier that head to head right now the Yankees are the better team, and have the Sox number.
  5. Assuming Houck would have either walked, or hit Rizzo I would rather have seen Houck pitch to Stanton.
  6. I was on the USS JFK listening to that playoff game 6 hrs ahead on the time.
  7. I’m not letting Pivetta off the hook either. I’m fed up with starters who can’t last 6 innings no matter how well they do through 5.
  8. At one time the back of the bullpen looked pretty good with Whit, Otto, and Barnes. Now it’s a big crapshoot.
  9. Like I said earlier that Stanton is a lot different hitter than he was the last time in Boston.
  10. Once again a starting pitcher can’t even go 6, and all down hill from there. They were lucky they held the lead as long as they did.
  11. They deserve this loss.
  12. From scary to scarier.
  13. So far the good Pivetta is going today.
  14. Glad to see the Sox are back to their normal uniforms.
  15. They don’t have much exposure to him, because he only lasted 1.2 when he pitched against them. Like I said before head to head is the most important thing not what happens against other teams, or other pitchers, or other batters.
  16. Most important is that Pivetta has only pitched once against the Yankees this year, and didn’t last 2 innings.
  17. Like the lineup better today.
  18. The only thing that matters right now is head to head, and and not what both teams have done against the rest of the league. Pivetta needs to have one of his good games today to have a chance.
  19. The first part of the season the Sox had the Yankees number, but the second part of the season the Yankees have had the Sox number, so right now I would give the Yankees the edge.
  20. Both teams have been very hot, and both teams have been very cold it’s just a question of which team on both sides shows up.
  21. I agree, and like I said before Judge, and Stanton are pounding the ball now compared to the last time they were in Boston, which has made a big difference.
  22. All the bigger guys look like Fred Flintstone in those yellow Jersey.
  23. Like Cole not having 2 bad games in a row I don’t think Eo would either, so Eo over Sale against the Yankees.
  24. I’m just not a Schwaber fan, and I blame the front office for that. At the trading deadline Boddy D was sucking, and the Sox needed a 1B, and Rizzo was available, but they were to slow, and the Yankees jumped in. Rizzo is a good 1B, and was healthy unlike Schwaber who was hurt, and couldn’t play for a few weeks. In the meantime the Sox took a big nosedive.
