  1. That’s not even analyzing. That’s a fact.
  2. I’m counting the play in game, and then go from there.
  3. 1 down 5 more to go.
  4. Bloom didn’t have anything to do with the call. John Henry did, and it was the right call.
  5. His contract for next year keeps going up.
  6. Sometimes it’s right to go with your gut then try to crunch to many numbers, which is what baseball has turned into.
  7. I’ve never said anything about choking, but like I said don’t over analyze, and you’ll be alright. D U G O.
  8. Still scratching on Dugo?
  9. Let him start the 7th. He’s better than anyone in the pen.
  10. I can’t believe it a starting pitcher making through 6. A shaky 6th inning, but I’ll take it.
  11. Hopefully he’s starting one of his hot streaks.
  12. Stop over analyzing everything.
  13. You call hitting a solo HR in the second inning in a 0-0 is a clutch hit?
  14. The whole offense has pretty much bottomed out, and like Cora said last night lots of empty AB. Not a clutch hitter in the bunch.
  15. They will win tonight, because EO will have a good bounce back game, and nothing else.
  16. To much worrying about Schwaber not playing. Be fore he hit those 2 HR against a Mets pitcher he hits he had gone 13 games without a HR, and pounded out a 2-9 this past weekend against the Yankees.
  17. You are saying that those games listed were pressure packed games like this last Yankee series? Wow! And none of those games you listed will be no comparison to the games that is left to play.
  18. Put him at DH, which is the only place he belongs.
  19. No LF is not one of the most important D positions, but I don’t want JD out there either.
  20. When was there pressure on the Sox earlier this season, and that they played well under that pressure? The first 16 games against the Yankees were nothing like the last 3 games played last weekend. That was playoff atmosphere, and a lot different from the earlier games, and, because they lost all 3, it has made the next 5 with another lost last night all the more important, and now under more pressure than they have faced all year. Nothing to compare to earlier in the season.
  21. The D has been bad enough that you don’t need Fred Flintstone Schwaber in the field. LF, or 1B.
  22. A lot more pressure playing in these games now compared to even a few weeks ago, and that is a big difference, so flipping back to playing better all of a sudden isn’t as easy as it was before.
  23. You say at the moment the Sox suck, but that has changed all year long, but like I keep saying the Sox are not the same team. They are all these additions, and the record didn’t improve. Earlier in the season they were in first place, and didn’t need those additions, because they were a better team, but you don’t understand that, and keep hoping they will turn it around is all you got at this point, and you can point to flips, and flops all you want, because once again that’s all you got, and no I won’t be thrilled if the Sox implodes, but I just don’t like the way things are going, and have the hope that you do, and I have not written any chances to win 5 in a row, or 6 in a row.
  24. Season records do not mean anything once the post season starts, so if you want to cling on the Sox we’re 10-9 against the Yankees go for it, but I don’t think it makes the Red Sox feel any better. What you don’t seem to get is the Red Sox aren’t the same team as they were earlier in the season, and can’t just turn it on, and get better again. You seem to be the one clinging on thinking the Sox are better than they are. You keep thinking the Sox right now are as good as when they were beating up on the Yankees, and won their first 7 games against them. THEY ARE NOT, so who is the one clinging? You are.
  25. You keep thinking the Sox are the same team that was in first place the first half of the season. They are not, and neither are the Yankees. The Yankees got better, and Toronto got better. The Sox did not, so don’t think the Sox can just turn it around.
