You are judging what’s normal, and sane? Why didn’t you correct the fist statement Matt Olson to the Braves? Everyone knew it was a trade, so if everyone knew it was a trade then everyone knew that wanted to know the contract signed was after a trade. You just think you did some great thing in saying it wasn’t a FA signing. EVERYONE already knew that wanted to know. I’ll ask again who didn’t already know on here? Most of all I’m not mad just, because you thought you had to clarify something. I have seen enough on here to know that things sometimes words have to be worded just right , or some go in a tizzy. The best example of that is Moon’s legendary head scratcher that some went on, and on about for sometime, so think I’m mad all you want, but it would have to be a more important source than you to do that, and even then it wouldn’t happen especially about the trivial subject that you thought you was correcting an injustice. Laughable at best.

And what difference in the big scheme of things does it matter if it was a FA signing, or a trade, and a signing? It doesn’t. Like I said before the ones on here that are keeping up on things already knew that a trade was made, and that’s why I just said in the first place Matt Olson to the Braves, and the ones not knowing what was going it wouldn’t have mattered anyway. I know it wouldn’t have matted to me one way, or the other, but I guess you felt the need just in case someone needed the clarification. Give yourself a pat on the back for everyone that you helped understand.

Fall back to the usual whiny name calling all you want, but I don’t have to clarify anything to you unless you are one that hasn’t followed what’s been going on, because it sounds like it. In the big scheme of things what does it matter if it was a FA contract, or not? It doesn’t.

Anybody who has been following whats been going on already knew Olson came in a trade, and those that wasn’t it wouldn’t have mattered anyway.

After they sucked, but not to start the season. I think all starting pitching is going to be iffy to start the season with a shorter ST, so I see the starters not going many innings, and even shorter than usual, so there are going to be plenty of innings to go around until things settle down.

My main point is that Bloom up to this point doesn’t have as big a checkbook as Theo, and DD did, and has to make more with less. From what I saw is the Sox are at $209M for LT purposes, and I don’t think they will go much higher.

Interest is one thing, and making a serious bid is another. I was just listening to a talk show, and they said the Red Sox are cheap right now, and aren’t going to outbid anyone especially the Dodgers, or Yankees.

When you say spending $40M isn’t he just replacing contracts? It’s not like he’s adding $40M more to the payroll from last year, and like you said to fill 7-10 roster slot’s that’s not much money to work with.

Theo would not work for the allowance that Bloom gets for John Henry.

Bloom has already picked up 3 starters, so why do you think he’d trade for more?

What he almost got has pitched the last two years for the Dodgers, and nothing to brag about.

Get rid of Duggy already? He didn’t have as good a season last year as he did the year before, but he is never going to be as good as Mookie. As you saying Bloom didn’t do a good job in what he got back for Mookie? I have always thought he should have gotten some pitching back in the deal.

The way Cora talked today it sounds like as it stands now Kike will start in CF, and JBJ in right. Of course any additions, or injuries could change that.

2nd most innings in his career, but two previous years did not total 100 innings combined.

What’s the holdup with Suzuki? Process, or decision? He must know where he wants to go by now.

Think what you want, but it is most likely going to be a cluster either way. I think they should have scrapped the 162, and had the regular length ST, and then picked up from there.
