How bad would it be to sign Story, but lose Bogey, and Raffy?

If I had to guess one way, or the other I would say you are right.

If signing Story will mean that Bogey doesn’t get resigned then I think that is a bad deal Bogey has been part of two championships is the team leader, and loves to play in Boston not to mention that he has also produced. I’m not saying keep him at SS, but if he walks out the door it will be a big loss.

Understood, but I guess it depends how much more Bogey wants than the $20M he gets now, and for how long. I think 8yrs, or more is to long.

Agree, and most I’ve heard today is he should be resigned if they could get a 5-6 yrs, and kept under $30M per, which might not happen since he is a Boris guy. He is the team leader, and he does want to stay, so that should be in the Sox favor.

Most of the opinions I’ve heard today on 2 different TS is that Bogey needs to be resigned, and is not as bad on D as so many make him out to be on here. Like I have mentioned before that the opinions on here a very small sample size of the opinions out there in the vast area of Red Sox Nation.

It was just brought up today on a TS about the relay throw Bogey made against the Yankees last year when I believe he threw out Judge at in plate in the one game playoff. Does Story make that same throw with his bad elbow? That throw was something great by a hair in a critical point in a big game.

Sometimes it works better that way, but it was unintentional, and must have been a misclick.

I’m not going to worry to much about it, because I’m one of the few that is fine with Bogey being the SS at least for now.

Why do you keep missing the most IMPORTANT part of the picture, which is a bad elbow? That should be a big concern for everyone.

It’s amazing that Moon has changed his stance from makes little sense to now it makes sense with all the elbow problem reports out there. I guess those reports aren’t part of the metrics.

The elbow problem is not some unknown injury, and has been there for a few years now, and that is the BIGGEST concern.

His defensive numbers look may look good, but what about his elbow? There are all kind of bad reports out there with several elbow strains the last few years. Those reports are more important than metrics.

Another report I heard this morning that Story’s elbow is suspect, and needs to be monitored. How come no one else is talking about this?

OMG! It completely pointless talking to you too. If someone said two hours ago that we disagree why do you keep it going? You always say I missed your point, but do you ever think I just sometime ignore your point, and maybe that’s what frustrates you. Ignore all you want it doesn’t change anything for me one way, or the other.

You remind me of someone that is afraid to blame Cora for anything. Believe me he would not care what you think, or Bloom either for that matter. I don’t know, but I don’t think Bloom makes out the lineup. Cora does. Going to be a long year for you stewing, or what ever it is what you do about Bogey. Quite hilarious.

Who said I didn’t respond to posters? I said hours ago we disagreed on Bogey, and yet for some reason you want to keep it going, when no one is going to change their opinions. You watch Bogey how you want to watch Bogey, and Judge Bogey how you want to judge Bogey, and I will do the same.
