    One of Moon’s favorite words disdain. Moon I don’t have any disdain for you let alone any Red Sox player, or Minor League player for that matter, but even if I did there would be NOTHING wrong with that, because this is a site that welcomes any, and all opinions especially you. Just, because I don’t rate Kike as highly as you do, or think he was the best defensive Red Sox CF for one season like you do you think I don’t like him. You over analyze every time, and it doesn’t matter how many times you get it wrong you keep on doing it.I said I wouldn’t hire Cora back, and you took it from there, and said I hated Cora. You’ve been mister wrong way many more times than being Mister right, so disdain away all you want, but no crime committed.

    Shmuck, and Disdain you guys are quite the couple who just run off with things if it doesn’t fit your opinion, so I don’t give a damm if you think you can sense anything. He never had a full time position, so you call it one way, and I’ll call it another, and like I said anything more than hitting 240 is a plus. Utility player has bad connotations? that deserves more than a OMG.

    What dictionary outside of yours does it say utility man is a shmuck? Yes Kike played lots of games with the Dodgers, but never had a full time position. Like I said anything more than a 240 Ave is a plus, so go to WAR all you want, but I won’t agree with you that Kike is any kind of shmuck.

    The Red Sox had to juggle things around last time they went to Toronto, because of Houck, and now him being the closer makes it worse.

    Playoff hero he was, and if he gets hot like that again that’s great, but I just see him for what he has been, which was a utility player 4th OF/ 5th IF with the Dodgers, which is what I believe brought to Boston to be, but turned into a excellent full time CF. Just a career 240 hitter, so anything more than that is a plus.

    I still don’t feel very confident going forward with this BP, and especially with the schedule getting tough against the Div teams.

    Once again production from the leadoff hitter. Maybe Kike should go back to the job he had with the Dodgers as 4th OF, or 5th IF when he comes back. Watch Moon’s ears perk up.
