Well said that Tampa is not Boston, and what works, or is put up with in Tampa won’t work, or be put up with in Boston, and that includes Bloom,who to lots of Red Sox Nation has worn out his welcome already.

I believe the signing of Story had more to do with appeasing the fans at the time, and some leverage against Bogey, so no rhetoric has left especially if Bogey, and Raffy aren’t resigned.

Even though Kike sucked with the bat to start the season at least the Red Sox had a good defensive outfield. Now with Duran in CF, and Dugo in RF the D is less than stellar. The Sox needed help in CF/RF, but what does Bloom do, but go out, and get a LF.
