  1. Bloom has had 3 years to work on all the expiring contracts, and to work on the Bogey, and Raffy situations. What has he done on these things? Got rid of Vaz for a couple of prospects, and NOTHING else. Not much partially there, and that is all on Bloom.
  2. Story Land is not made for Boston.
  3. Duran, and Franchy both need to go away period. I would rather see JBJ back out there than either of these two trying to pretend they are Major League Ballplayers. Duran can run, but from the neck on down he doesn’t have a clue. At least JBJ could catch the ball.
  4. There would have to be lightning in a bottle not to.
  5. I always thought that too, but after I heard Mookie do a podcast recently with Rob Bradford, I’m not so sure.
  6. I’m not so sure, but we’ll have to wait, and see.
  7. Elected!
  8. The Sox did offer Mookie $300M that is true, but I think they had a pretty good idea that he wanted more, and wouldn’t accept it.
  9. It’s not like his bat is working that good either.
  10. Not obvious at all. I don’t think JH wanted to shell out $300M+ regardless of what the payroll was, and it’s to be seen if he’s Willy for Raffy either.
  11. The Price signing was bad, but the Kimbrel, and Sale trades were good. Just not the Sale ext.
  12. DD did not empty the farm either, which is brought up often on here.
  13. He can run fast, and that’s it.
  14. Blaming DD is part of the party line of the Pro Bloom crowd. Even though Bloom has had 3 years to work on things like expiring contracts, and the Bogey, and Raffy contract situations, which he botched, before the season even started.
  15. We are not here now just because of DD. If Bloom knew what he was doing it shouldn’t have been this bad. He has made things worse.
  16. You are just now figuring that out when you have constantly talked about trading him like they were goin to get something back for him.
  17. I remember when someone made the statement early in the season that we got Bloom, and we got Cora, which to me meant we have a competitive advantage over everyone else. How has that worked out? Cora started the KC series off with bringing D Hern into a tied game in the 7th inning. How many thought that was a smart managerial decision? I’m not saying Cora is dumb, so don’t go there, but that was a dumb managerial decision, and the rest of the weekend went down hill from there. I’m surprised they got 1 win. The team came out of the gate lifeless, and listless, and now I believe everyone has quit. Heads should roll from the top of Bloom, and Cora down to the players. Saying they are an embarrassment is to kind, and you don’t need anything more than the eye test to tell you that. Bloom had the Gaul to have a team meeting after Vaz was traded. Do you think that made matters better, or worse? Analytics aren’t going to help with that, but the good old eye test will for those who want to look.
  18. Now the Sox are 3-4 since Vaz left, so is he still the problem that your flimsy excuse tried to make it? Priceless!
  19. Not only no, but hell no on Kike. Still trying to trade a useless Duran.
  20. Beyond lame? Wow!
  21. If I already said I could care less if JH payed out a $500M dollar payroll did you have to ask any other questions? That was your answer.
  22. The fans help pay the bills. Or not.
  23. But some on here will tell you the future looks bright. Did someone say prospects?
  24. Agree 100%.
