Have you confirmed the Red Sox record without Vaz yet? It’s 4-6, and alternating 2 backup catchers is not sound baseball strategy. Who do you think the guys in the Red Sox clubhouse would rather have Vaz, or Pee Wee Herman?

This has already been gone through. His not getting lucky outweighs the getting lucky, and the WL record shows that.

I don’t blame Bloom for using Bobby D, but I do blame Bloom for Franchy at 1B, and waiting way way to long to getting a real 1B like Hosmer.

I myself evaluate Bloom on EVERY move he makes, and the overall record of the team.Whitlock, and Schreiber doesn’t offset all the bad moves he’s made.

I have said all along 6-165. Startnhg at $25M, and ending at $30M, and if not accepted then bye bye, and move on to another SS, or 2B.

Agree. I think Bogey is gone, and Raffy is 50-50. Losing both will be a PR disaster, and then some.

Riley signing the deal he did does not help Raffy, but it only takes one owner to go higher, and longer than the rest, and I think there are a few around. I don’t think JH is one of them.

I’ll give Bloom credit, where credit where credit is do. Pham, and Hosmer have been solid pickups, but Pham, or the like should have been here before the season started, and Hosmer, or the like should have been here at least 2 months ago.

Yes years, and money will be the big deciders, but don’t discount feelings especially with Bogey.

I don’t know if Bogey’s, and Raffy’s thought process is the same as it was when the season started. It’s been a rough season to say it mildly, and Bloom has pissed people off more than once along the way.

They definitely had their share of injuries, and then some, and not only that but all seemed to drag on a lot longer than first expected.

It didn’t really go sour, but that June was more fantasy, and the rest of the months have turned out to be the real deal.

Duran, and Jeter Downs were once promising prospects/suspects, so promising most times don’t add up with good results.
