  1. Oh no complain! No one on here knows for sure who, and from where were offered for Mookie. Many blamed Bloom for not finding a way to keep Mookie? First I heard of that. Yes me, and others have complained about the return for Mookie. Nothing wrong with that, and I guess at the moment it depends on Wong turning out to be a productive C on if the trade looks better than it first did.
  2. The Red Sox got rid of the Babe, and to a lesser extent Mookie, and the Pats let Brady walk out of town. It doesn’t get much bigger than that.
  3. Not for making the trade at all, but what he got back in return. I have never blamed Bloom for the trade.
  4. The Devers situation doesn’t have to be decided now, but how much money being tied up for years down the road I would think would have to be known in signings of other players for more than a year. Also if he can’t be signed now then trade him. Play ball!
  5. Like I’ve said all along, but Bogey, and the Raffy situations have to be decided first before anything else can get done. As for the rest of the season I’ve seen enough out of everybody except just to see Bello develop more, and also Casas.
  6. Henry has always gotten the blame for Mookie leaving town along with Mookie himself.
  7. Not quite. Brady is still playing, and the wife doesn’t want him to.
  8. Agree, and I don’t think Cora is much into ass kicking.
  9. DD has gotten all the blame for the Sale contract, and there is, or wasn’t anything that Bloom could do about it.
  10. I think that they lose at NC this week, and if Pyne doesn’t play well I agree to start bringing the Freshman along. No I don’t believe Buchner is the answer either. Big problem too is that the O Line, and the WR aren’t up to the usually strong ND standards.
  11. Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs? Yes sir! Playoffs start in Portland tonight.
  12. And coddled.
  13. I’m just ready for this season to end, and get to the off season, and see how things shake out.
  14. I think it’s more like the wife didn’t want to live near dumpy Foxboro anymore.
  15. No they probably wouldn’t have, but I don’t think the Pats would have been as competitive either the last two years if Brady would have stayed in Boston.
  16. Probably so, but for the record I don’t frequent the talk shows much anymore. The Red Sox are pretty much on the back burner these days, and it’s mostly Pats talk.
  17. I think Brady got way to much credit for the Bucs winning his first year there. True they needed a good QB, which he still was, but the Bucs were loaded on offense, and added more to it, and the D was pretty good too.
  18. I can’t speak for anyone else, but my opinion of Bloom had nothing to do with Sports talk radio.
  19. When you run Brady out of town you’d better keep on winning, because the Pats fans got spoiled for all those SB appearances.
  20. Agree, but the original comment was going all in from 2016-2018. The two you mentioned were very questionable, and did take up $40M of payroll.
  21. Bill brings a lot of that on himself for his eloquent press conferences.
  22. Exactly! Going All In at any time had nothing to do with this year. Signing Sale to that extension especially since he still had a year left on his contract was mismanagement at its best. Going all in so called from 2016-2018 had nothing to do with all the injuries this year, or the less than stellar performances from so many players this year.
  23. I guess it depends on if you think clubhouses chemistry means anything, or not. Sometimes just changing the manager can make a big difference. Remember Morgan magic? And wast it in 78 that the Yankees went to Bob Lemon, and the Yankees took off on a big winning streak?
  24. Actually they have been after Bill for two years now. He gets blamed for Brady leaving town, and the team being not as good. A 20 year run, and 1 losing season is all it takes. Of course Bill didn’t major in public relations either, and makes it harder on himself with the media.
  25. Now why would the Boston media don’t like Bloom?
