  1. I’ve heard of kinds of talk about cliffs, and rebuilds on here, but not from the Red Sox Brass. When the Red Sox have had players like JD, Raffy, Bogey, Vaz, Evol, and others is that what you do a rebuild with. You’ve had Bogey, and Raffy in their prime years, and before this year JD had been productive too. It just seems like a big waste to me to have wasted prime years from the likes of Bogey, and Raffy to do any kind of rebuilds if that’s what it was.
  2. Scared off the site? After all we’ve been through, and you think I’d walk out on you guys? When Bloom does something noteworthy good, or bad I’ll give my fair, and balanced opinion as always.
  3. Thanks for asking, but it’s not whale season anymore.
  4. You guys can analyze things the way you want to, and I’ll analyze things the way I want to. I know you think your way is right for you, and my way is right for me, and all of this has been said many times over much to your chagrin. You guys like playing amateur GM’s, and I don’t, and I have said many times I’m not paid to do Bloom’s job for him rather you like it, or not, and I could care less if m distractors are shut up, or not. As for cancer I know all about that as I have cancer in my family right now, so thanks for asking. Getting all riled up over a talk forum, which is another form of a talk show is going way overboard especially when you talk about cancer, and mental institutions.
  5. First of all thanks for all the kind words the fact that you have made such an effort it has brightened my day, which will last for days on end. Dude Kike is a career 239 hitter, and is no superstar. Your opinion was that he was good in 2021, and yes he plays a good CF, and had a hot streak in the postseason, but once again he is no superstar. The Kike subject is another subject that has been recycled over, and over. Once again your kind words are well appreciated. S A L U T E!
  6. The BP is already weaker without Whitlock, and like I said before I can’t believe Kike is the only option out there, but that would be Bloom’s job to find out. Swing a trade for a starter even if Evol is still resigned? The bullpen also more than 2 reliable arms.
  7. Come on now everyone knows you can’t guarantee anyone to be good, or great next year. I just didn’t think was a great way to work on the 2023 roster by signing Kike.
  8. I would rather get better myself like a winning record, and a trip to the postseason.
  9. That is a big if, and he sucked before, and after he was injured this past year. If he performs the same as 2022 how does he make them better? Shoulda, woulda, and coulda is not a way to go for me. I guess for you it is.
  10. I was told earlier that the Red Sox couldn’t do better than Kike for $10M, and now the Red Sox have to do no better, and settle for Evol. Neither move to me is is a move trying to get the Red Sox better.
  11. Ignoring, and snoring.
  12. It’s always that someone else doesn’t get it when they deal with you. Amazing! Once again comparing a typing error with a error in judgement. By your flawed logic if I said I would not resign Bogey, or Raffy then that would mean I hate Bogey, and Raffy. That is how flawed your logic is. Flawed to the ist degree, and then some.Wow! This whole thing was about you comparing a typing error with an error in judgement, and you are trying to make it into something different. Let’s just stick to Red Sox talk.
  13. Exactly, and that’s why I put Raffy making more money in less years.
  14. Good points, but I would for the LAST time say I’m against giving out any 10 yr contracts.
  15. Are you really going to compare a typing error to an error in judgement? Really? Come on man! NOBODY ever said I have never misinterpreted other posters either, but that is really grasping at straws to compare a typing error with an error in judgement. Once again. Come on man!
  16. Mine was a typing error. BIG difference.
  17. I did say Bogey, but it was a mess up.
  18. With that type of body it will be hard to keep in shape especially going into his 30’s, so I’ll put a wait, and see on the toast. Riley got 10/212, so I think 8/$225M would be more than fair. Is Raffy better than Riley?
  19. I know, but I already said in a previous post that I messed up, and said Bogey instead of Raffy. I can’t believe that was missed me saying I messed up. # 416.
  20. I did answer this in a previous post. 8/$225M. I don’t want any 10-12 yr contracts, which I have answered too. Agree, or disagree, but that’s my thought.
  21. I was talking about Raffy, so why would it be ages 30-37?
  22. You got me. I’m actually one of JH financial advisors.
  23. I guess I must if I’m worrying about $19M.
  24. And like I said, and now he’s two years older, and had some injuries in 2022.
  25. I personally don’t care, but I do understand there is a budget. $19M even for 1 yr still takes up a lot of 2023 budget does it not?
