  1. Struck some nerves, and it never takes much at all. Imagine if you give Bloom any criticism at all you are a hater, but when you PBA at the drop of a hat you’re not a lover. Only on here would you get logic like that.
  2. One thing I like about this forum is how posters are encouraged to voice their opinions even if it doesn’t match other posters opinions. I know I’ve been encouraged in the past, and still feel encouraged every day now.
  3. To an objective observer his observation would be spot on no doubt.
  4. nwtt.
  5. Well said. I was against the Bloom signing on day 1, and the small sample size that this forum is is mostly pro Bloom, and have been since day 1. The here, and now, and the results is what matters most to me, but everyone is entitled to their opinions even if it takes a few years down the road to get good results, or if they never materialize.
  6. I agree, and while most on here are assuming if Bogey is not resigned they will grab one of the other high priced SS, and I’m not thinking that way. I can’t see the Red Sox spending more money on a SS then they are willing to go for Bogey, and that includes Correa.
  7. Now who’s not getting the point?
  8. I’m sure poor, poor pitiful me Chaim Bloom knew all about having to trade Mookie, and the bad contracts, budget restrictions, and a not to generous allowance he would be getting from daddy JH when he took the job, so nothing should have been a surprise to him including the scrutiny from the media, and fans alike.
  9. If Bloom is as good as you thinks he is he should be able to fix all the problems you keep bring up, and that the Red Sox are in such bad shape. On the other if he’s not good like I think he is it will be Gloom, and Doom will be brought by Bloom.
  10. If a real poll went out today in all of RSN asking who they would rather have as GM of the Boston Red Sox Bloom, or DD I bet DD would win in a landslide.
  11. Bloom is a minor league talent compared to DD’s record.
  12. Tell me why, tell me why, tell me why. Sale’s bad DD contract prevented the Red Sox from being a winning in the postseason team last year? Why are we focusing just on Sale’s contract? Is that all you got?
  13. To go over the tax line for a losing last place team says it all to me. Word on the street that JH was not to happy with Bloom on that one.
  14. It’s amazing that whenever I don’t agree with someone on here it’s either I don’t get something, or I don’t know something. I get, and know plenty, and that’s why there is a disagreement. For the upteenth time Bloom is a failure, and Sam Kennedy said so, and I agree 100% with him, and no one is going to charnge my mind, but try as you will. You look at things one way, and I look at them another.
  15. Agree, but I don’t think JH is ready to admit he made a mistake in hiring Bloom.
  16. The facts are the facts, and these are the facts. That’s the fact Jack.
  17. Deny, deny, accuse. This is Bloom’s watch now and has been for 3 years, and you can make all the excuses you want for him, but he’s in charge, and he responsible. DD is gone, and is in charge of a team that just went to the WS. I wish the Red Sox had someone like that. Oh wait they did, and now they don’t. Sad, but true.
  18. I’m not cult DD, but his record in Boston speaks for itself. 4 winning seasons, and the best record in Red Sox history was on his watch. No it wasn’t all his doing, but it was on his watch. I keep repeating that Bloom failed this past year, and that is the bottom line cause Sam Kennedy said so.
  19. Ah going back to 2021, which seems light years away. Of course a losing last place in the Div team will do that to you.
  20. I would say most just said the Red Sox record was what it was this past year, and Bloom was in charge, and like Sam Kennedy has said Bloom failed.
  21. This board is just a very small sample size is it not? Out in the vast reaches of RSN there are millions, and millions of the Rock’s fans who aren’t Bloom’s fans. Yes I know it’s hard to believe.
  22. Love him, or don’t like the job he’s doing Bloom is certainly polarizing for someone whose not very polarized.
  23. Thanks for asking, and that would be 25 at the gym. 20 against, and 5 sustained. Out side of here how many have you heard from whose pro Bloom? This was just yesterday.
  24. No it doesn’t, but my point is out in RSN there are more people who believe that Bloom is not that good, and on here it’s the other way around, which doesn’t make it true either. I’ll go with the masses on this one.
  25. Maybe on here, but out in the vast reaches of RSN the message is loud, and clear, and that is the Big Leagues.
