The upgrades were so good the team went from a few games away from the WS to last place in the Division, and a losing record to boot.

He did good as it turns out with acquisitions like Whitlock, Kike, and Renfroe in 2021, but then Renfroe, and his 96 RBI wasn’t good enough so he got rid of him at the excitement of getting prospects, and made the team worse in the process.
