  1. It’s hard to say what Mookie would have done. I heard Mookie on a podcast with Rob Bradford a while back, and he pretty much said the same thing he did in the interview, but like you said we will never know, because the Red Sox didn’t counter.
  2. I don’t know if the Red Sox offer was PR, or not, but pretty sure the Red Sox knew he was going to reject the offer.
  3. I think the little show will be for PR purposes, and nothing else, and I’m not to sure that is going to come out well.
  4. Good correction! What’s your level of confidence that a deal with Raffy gets done? Mine not so much.
  5. Gabrielle Starr on Bosox Injection wrote a good column a few days ago on the Raffy contract negotiations on how the two sides were $100,000 apart. Lots of excitement on here when it was announced that the Red Sox had sent someone down for so called contract talks . To sum it up that store bought Birthday cake that JH bought didn’t come close enough to what Raffy liked. JH couldn’t even spring for a special made cake. Surprising? I don’t believe so.
  6. I know you think you are, but you are not the word police, or the interpreter on here if you was you would have been fired long ago for your incompetence. You showed your true side when you said ERod was in a mental institution. Real class, or lack of. How insensitive that comment was, and not funny at all.
  7. I said I dislike Cora as a manager? News to me. By saying I don’t think Cora is as good a manager as some people think does not mean I dislike him as a manager. I think some on here have overrated Cora, and I just not going to do that. Nice try though to try, and put words to my name. Now I disliked Cora as a manager I would say I don’t think Cora is a good manager. It’s not that hard to understand unless you are looking for something completely different. It’s kind of like where you know I stand on Bloom. No doubt.
  8. Once again you don’t know s***, and over analyzing once again. Like I keep saying MR. Wrong MR. wrong they keep playing your song. I said I never would have hired Cora back, and I don’t think he’s as good a manager as some think on here, but I like Cora, and have even posted that before. You apologizing for the Cora statement isn’t the point. The point is you analyzed a statement, and come to a wrong conclusion, and still continue to do it. If you didn’t over analyze in the first place you might not have got it so wrong. I have no problem voicing my opinion, and if I didn’t like Cora I would have no problem saying so.
  9. No over analyzing is saying I HATED CORA, which was 100% not true, and that was the best example of all. You’ve also been wrong a lot more times that you have corrected yourself. Of course you would have to know you were wrong in the first place, and lots of times you don’t think that, so of course you are the last one to know.
  10. And I will point out every time you over analyze, and interpret things wrong, which you have done many times over much to your chagrin. Mush?
  11. I don’t make predictions, because I’m bad at it. My preference definitely would be to have a OF alignment for the Red Sox next year of Gallo in RF, JBJ in CF, and Renfroe in LF. Can Bloom make it happen?
  12. We have gone over all this many times over. You analyze things the way that you need, and want to, and there is nothing wrong with that. I on the other hand analyze things the way I need, and want to, and there is nothing wrong with that either. I could care less how Bogey’s D metrics stack up against all the other SS in baseball. All I care about is that he is good enough for me to play SS for the Boston Red Sox. Same thing with Vaz I could care less what his D metrics say on how good he his compared to the rest of the league. He for me was good enough to be the C of the Boston Red Sox., so I have never said the good old eye test is the best way to analyze things, but I have said it is good enough for me much to your chagrin, and I’m not going to change my opinion no matter how many times you bring the eye test up. It obviously is wrong for you, but not wrong for me.
  13. Lots of things rings hollow to you, and absurd to think you only know what’s right. If an objective, independent talk show regular come on here, and read all that goes on they would think the were lots of absurdity, and yes even from you. A gift it is not.
  14. There you go again. Where did it say I didn’t like them? Wrong maybe, but dude i didn’t say I didn’t like them. Wrong means they didn’t, or won’t happen. Wrong predictions doesn’t add anything either.
  15. And the eye test bugs the crap out of you, and the fact I don’t need much else like you do.
  16. Haven’t listened to sports radio for a few months now, so wrong again, but this forum is just another form of sports radio.
  17. The scarecrow must have been your favorite companion when they pulled the curtain back on you.
  18. I’ve already said BA is not the be all end all, but my opinion is Gallo sucks. You saying Gallo is good doesn’t make it right either. Like I said earlier that Gallo is so good he has worn out his welcome with the Yankees, and Dodgers.
  19. Who said anything about loving Renfroe? I was all for replacing Renfroe, but not with a non hitter like JBJ no matter how good his glove is. That would go for Gallo too. He sucks.
  20. Yes, and even more so of JBJ. He Can’t Hit.
  21. And where does it actually say Notin shouldn’t make predictions? Not what you think, and interpreted it to say, but actually say he shouldn’t?
  22. Like I’ve said before. The Candy Man can, but you can’t. The curtain has been pulled back to many times. Say good night Dick.
  23. For some like Notin he loved it, so for him probably a 10.
  24. Where does it say I said no one can make predictions? You can’t find it, because I didn’t say it. Just another example of a long long list of over analyzing, and getting some wrong. AGAIN.
  25. Not complaining, but critiquing the accuracy of such predictions. Not a very high percentage I would say.
