  1. I never heard that Bloom offered a deal to Schwarber, or to Suzuki either.
  2. Do we know if Bloom even made an offer?
  3. The video tells it all.
  4. I’m still trying to figure how he didn’t get hurt tangling with that TV in Worcester last year.
  5. If Bogey, Raffy, and JD are all gone lots of offense will have to be made up somewhere, and somehow. 2022 numbers were not as good as previous years, but still it will have to be made up.
  6. Should be even more of spending money if Bogey, and, or Raffy leave, and that will be up to Bloom to replace the two with that money,or use it elsewhere.
  7. Sale will not opt out! No surprise there. $55M gets pocketed.
  8. I have the tee shirt, but I prefer being a critic, but either one will do.
  9. It’s always on JH, but Bloom has to make do with whatever money he has to spend, and I’m sure he knew that going in. Theo got things wrong, and DD too, but they are no longer the Hobo in Boston anymore, and Bloom is.
  10. Wouldn’t change a thing for me, because JH would get the credit. Now if Bogey, and Raffy aren’t resigned that will be on Henry too. If Raffy gets traded what they get back in return will be on Bloom, and who replaces Bogey, and Raffy if they both leave will be on Bloom too. Sounds pretty simple to me.
  11. I don’t think Raffy has had his best years yet, and this was Judge’s best year, which most likely he won’t duplicate again, so I’m going with Raffy. Hopefully Raffy would stay in some sort of good shape.
  12. That’s good for the Braves, but I don’t think you’ll be seeing Raffy signing close to that contract.
  13. I think the one action that speaks louder than words was the lowball offers to to Raffy, and Bogey last off season.
  14. True, and I think Tito got dragged more Than anybody. They bought the Globe, but they haven’t harnessed Shaugnessy, and he’s Henry’s biggest critic.
  15. I think you would have to know all the facts to make that determination, but I would lean towards Henry’s.
  16. Agree, but if JH doesn’t want to open up his checkbook very far they won’t get any of the above.
  17. Casas shows promise, but I wouldn’t exactly call his limited time as impressive, so I would keep Hosmer around to see how the season starts out.
  18. It’s hard to say what Mookie would have done. I heard Mookie on a podcast with Rob Bradford a while back, and he pretty much said the same thing he did in the interview, but like you said we will never know, because the Red Sox didn’t counter.
  19. I don’t know if the Red Sox offer was PR, or not, but pretty sure the Red Sox knew he was going to reject the offer.
  20. I think the little show will be for PR purposes, and nothing else, and I’m not to sure that is going to come out well.
  21. Good correction! What’s your level of confidence that a deal with Raffy gets done? Mine not so much.
  22. Gabrielle Starr on Bosox Injection wrote a good column a few days ago on the Raffy contract negotiations on how the two sides were $100,000 apart. Lots of excitement on here when it was announced that the Red Sox had sent someone down for so called contract talks . To sum it up that store bought Birthday cake that JH bought didn’t come close enough to what Raffy liked. JH couldn’t even spring for a special made cake. Surprising? I don’t believe so.
  23. I know you think you are, but you are not the word police, or the interpreter on here if you was you would have been fired long ago for your incompetence. You showed your true side when you said ERod was in a mental institution. Real class, or lack of. How insensitive that comment was, and not funny at all.
  24. I said I dislike Cora as a manager? News to me. By saying I don’t think Cora is as good a manager as some people think does not mean I dislike him as a manager. I think some on here have overrated Cora, and I just not going to do that. Nice try though to try, and put words to my name. Now I disliked Cora as a manager I would say I don’t think Cora is a good manager. It’s not that hard to understand unless you are looking for something completely different. It’s kind of like where you know I stand on Bloom. No doubt.
  25. Once again you don’t know s***, and over analyzing once again. Like I keep saying MR. Wrong MR. wrong they keep playing your song. I said I never would have hired Cora back, and I don’t think he’s as good a manager as some think on here, but I like Cora, and have even posted that before. You apologizing for the Cora statement isn’t the point. The point is you analyzed a statement, and come to a wrong conclusion, and still continue to do it. If you didn’t over analyze in the first place you might not have got it so wrong. I have no problem voicing my opinion, and if I didn’t like Cora I would have no problem saying so.
