  1. Correa’s contract would be bigger, and longer then I think the Red Sox would want to go, and I think that goes for Raffy too.
  2. They were a losing team that got much better as the season went on, so call it what you want, but I doubt the Sox would have had the same success against them if they had played in Aug- Sept.
  3. Right Correa will be more expensive than Bogey, so the Sox will land him instead, and then lock up Raffy at even more money.Wishful thinking, but not much of a reality.
  4. The Mariners were a losing team 6-8 games under 500 when the Red Sox played them, and they got better later on in the season, where the Sox went the other way, so doesn’t show much more than that.
  5. To bad the Astros didn’t.
  6. The point is not if I can grasp your point, but if I want to, and at any rate you are on the losing side when it comes to the shift, which I believe will be better for baseball. Can you taste it? Can you feel it? Can you touch it? No? Now you can see it when you watch it. Enjoy!
  7. Baseball the way it should be. A little bit of small ball, a couple of big boppers, starting pitchers going through the order 3, or 4 times, and games being played a little on either side of 2 hours, and NO Shifts on pretty much every batter, which was analytics driven all sounds good to me. Not tinkering to me just back to the way it should be. To me analytics has been the tinkering.
  8. I can see clearly now the shift is GONE!
  9. There wasn’t enough cheese in the world to go along with all your wine that you did about the shift. Hilarious!
  10. Pasting yourself? That explains a lot. No saying you don’t have to be in a conversation to understand something. You’ve been in conversations before, and didn’t understand what something meant, so you probably should concentrate on getting that right first, before you venture out, and try to understand something others are doing.
  11. Bloom should now.
  12. DD is heading back to the WS. Bloom is hanging out in the Div basement.
  13. The Candy Man can, but you can’t. More like the not so great OZ. Patting yourself on the back doesn’t add a thing, or make anything right, or true.
  14. To bad you couldn’t get something right once in a while. Trades, signings, or a interpretation. Still looking for a first idea is a gift, and a curse.
  15. You wasn’t in the conversation it was said in.
  16. You don’t even know what was said.
  17. As you remember when I made the I would not rehire Cora statement I also said I would not rehire the hoodie wearer with the Pats, or the cigar smoker with the Celtics if they did the same thing, so by your interpretation I must hate Bill, and Red too.
  18. No! That was what it said. Of course you know all about misinterpreting things.
  19. Didn’t I comment many times on Duran Duran the Butterfly Man? I’m fully aware about outfield D, but can we at least get someone who can play good D, and also hit a little bit? That goes for Kike too.
  20. Are you still thinking that guarding the first, and third base lines is the same as the shift?
  21. So in your la la land if someone says they wouldn’t hire someone that means they hate them. I did not have to say it any other way than I did, but maybe just maybe it is your interpretation that was wrong. As a matter of FACT is was.
  22. You didn’t say that. You said signing Schwarber would not have made a difference in 2022, and not as an opinion, but as a matter of fact, which you did not have any facts of. Once again a win for DD, and the Phillies, who I’m sure are thrilled with Schwarber.
  23. Your hooked on Gallo just like you were on JBJ. He’ll no!
  24. Everyone knows, or at least I thought they did that JH traded Mookie, and JH will be the one to determine in Bogey, and Raffy stay.
  25. Yea I can see why no team would want a 40+HR hitter. You have NO CLUE if Schwarber would have made a difference this year, or not, which you confirmed by saying he wouldn’t have.
