  1. Guaranteeing, or wishful thinking?
  2. And that goes BOTH ways.
  3. The point about the Pats was the what have you done for me lately opinion, and not if it was about an Owner, GM, or player. Is that your opinion that JH knew what he was doing when he hired Bloom? It wasn’t a fact, and there are lots of fans including myself who have a different opinion. I am not in the camp that we need a new owner, but like I have voiced before that all the rings doesn’t make it alright for all the last place finishes.
  4. Statute of limitations not only yes, but hell yes! All you have to do, and I have brought this up before is see how the Hoodie who coaches the Pats has been getting roasted, and toasted, and has been for 3 years now. The Pats have won more rings than the Red Sox, but a lot of fans only care about the here, and now. That is something you have a problem understanding. Like it, or not that is how lots of fans are. The jury is still out by the way on if Henry knew what he was doing hiring Bloom if he still wants to have a team that wins to get into the postseason.
  5. JH has gotten his fair share of the blame for Mookie leaving town, and to me his biggest mistake was the hiring of Bloom, which could set the team back for years to come. The 4 rings have been great, but all the last place finishes have not been so great, so to me the winning of the rings has a statute of limitations on how long you can live off that. Loyalist, or realist.
  6. I’m not the only one commenting on your bad day, so can’t be all wrong. Say goodnight Dick.
  7. I guess you are just the last one to see what others have seen today.
  8. Just trying to brighten up your having a bad day.
  9. They are interchangeable. Very polite too. Always apologizing for all of Blooms mistakes.
  10. Oh no! Sky Low Low, and Little Brutus.
  11. ERod is in a mental institution? Not funny at all.
  12. As it ended up he would have even been an improvement at 1B over Franchy Strangeglove.
  13. All that matters at the moment is Philly is going to the WS, and the Red Sox are sitting home at the kiddie table for being in last place watching.
  14. Sox could have had Peña from the 2018 draft, but DD passed on him. I guess Orono Maine was to far to travel to scout.
  15. You believe what you want to believe, and I’ll believe what I want to believe, which is I only believe a signature on a dotted line.
  16. I never did care on long it takes to build up the farm. That’s your gig. I didn’t say it wasn’t important, but that’s as far as I go.
  17. But he didn’t say Bloom was the GM in 2019, so I don’t know why you commented on that.
  18. You are mistaking understanding with caring.
  19. I didn’t see anyone say Bloom was the HOBO in 2019. I think you missed the point.
  20. Ended up being both.
  21. Theo went to Thanksgiving with Schilling. Probably had pie then.
  22. I’ll go with the cake. Amazing if the reports are from people not liked like Shaugnessy, or Speier in this case they must be wrong. Like I said earlier I’ll believe when I see a signature on a dotted line.
  23. There wasn’t conflicting reports on the lowball offer like there is now.
  24. And you didn’t?
  25. Win in 4-7 years? That may work in a place like Pittsburg, but no way would it work in Boston, nor should it. Nobody has said it’s not Bloom’s idea not to spend big either. It doesn’t matter what kind of restrictions he’s under. Either he’s up for the job, or not. I don’t think JH promised him an open checkbook when he took the job.
