  1. Your glove over bats got you JBJ last year that you praised. How did that work out?
  2. I keep praising DD, because his four years in Boston were winning years, and one of those years was a WS ring, and the best record in Boston of all of them for the Red Sox. DD had his botched up moments on his resume especially the Chris Frail signing, and I believe he signed the Prince in Detroit, which didn’t work out to well. Some nerds are better than others, but Bloom is not one of them, so to say Houston won with one this year is irrelevant to what Bloom has botched in Boston.
  3. I guess Bloom wanted to get out of the nerd room so he took the job.
  4. Sam Kennedy now has come out from his Brain Cramp, and said maybe the Red Sox should have started negotiating with Bogey earlier in his career seeing as they knew he would opt out this year. Yes Sam you think?
  5. That offer looked dumb, and laughable then, and even looks worse now, and Notin thought the offer was worth getting a counter offer from the Bogey camp, which was laughable in itself.
  6. If you think saying DD would not work for JH now is praising him I think you are dead wrong. Theo I don’t believe would have worked for JH under these restrictions either, and that’s not praising Theo. The sad part to me is you think the Red Sox should be under these restrictions, and you need someone like Bloom in the first place.
  7. DD sat there, and watched his team in the WS this past postseason while Bloom sat there, and wondered how much more he could have screwed up this past season than he did. You can have the Dummy with that Dumb dumbfounded look on his face, and I’ll take DD any day. What DD wound have done 20 years ago has anything to do with what he would do today. It was a stretch on your part to bring it up, but not a good try.
  8. DD did not get fired, because of his record, but Bloom should. One had a good record, and one has a bad record.
  9. DD would not work for him under these budget constraints, but I guess that simple point went way over your head.
  10. I think booting Bloom will be harder to do, because this is Henry’s worst hire to run the club.
  11. DD would be smart enough not to work for the guy, but Bloom is dumb enough to do it. Theo wouldn’t have done it either.
  12. He raised ticket prices didn’t he?
  13. He’s trying to make JH look better, but it doesn’t work.
  14. Calling out fans for Anything doesn’t make anyone look smarter, but it’s done plenty on here, so let’s call everyone out who does, or not at all just to keep it going in the right direction.
  15. Let’s reword that to being closet to they think to being in the know, and pat yourself on the back to think you’re one of them.
  16. I get it 100%, and that is Bloom is nothing but John Henry’s Dummy.
  17. Last year was bad enough, but another year like it especially after Bogey left, and possibly Raffy too would I believe just push most of the fans over the edge, and some don’t have far to go like me.
  18. Like I said before he was in the nerd room with all the analytics, and the rest of the nerds, and now he is out front, and is just way in over his head. I’ve said it from the day he was hired. He should have just stayed in that nerd room.
  19. Now your talking, but some of the posters on here worry more about the payroll than they should for this guy.
  20. He’s already done nice things. He raised ticket prices. Nice things for him anyways.
  21. All along I’ve just thought that Bloom was just in over his head, but it was explained very well yesterday that Bloom is just Henry’s dummy, and this to me proves it. I can see clearly now why Bloom took a 96 RBI RF, and traded him for someone who couldn’t hit his weight, and then released him during the season after spending more money for him. Also why Bloom set there for months watching Franchy Strange Glove try, and play 1B, and also Duran, Duran The Butterfly Man trying to play the OF, and didn’t do anything about it. And then of course looking for that 3rd option at the fork it the road at the trade deadline. He just couldn’t help himself, because he’s just Henry’s dummy.
  22. Bogey leaving like he did was the result of Ownership/Front Office malpractice. I think the B Globe nailed it on that one. What do you think the rest of ML Baseball think? Laughing all the way no doubt. Like I keep saying it’s not, because of the final result, but what led up to the final result starting with last offseason. Dummies, liars, or both?
  23. And even raised ticket prices again to prove how much they care.
  24. He’d better be right on this one, because of other reports I’ve read other teams doesn’t have Yoshida ranked so highly, and certainly not worth what the Red Sox are paying him. Underpay to Bogey, and over pay on Yoshida an unproven ML talent?
  25. We were at least $100M short on signing Bogey, and there is no way the Red Sox could land Ohtani.
