  1. You don’t think the sports writers are justified in tempering their expectations for the Red Sox for this coming season? Is the old joint sold out for tomorrow’s game? I would say to start the season there is not much steam in the old pressure cooker. Like I said earlier the pressure cooker is being held by Bloom.
  2. I’ll agree that the microscope isn’t what it once was for the players. Bloom being a team player has put most of the microscope on himself.
  3. Do you really think all talk radio, and sports media are the same in every city?
  4. Say it ain’t so! You
  5. If you think every player who has come to Boston has handled it well then I think you are wrong, because I don’t, and that is my opinion. s***** reporters? How about those bad sports radio talk show callers, and yes wait for it those bad posters on TalkSox, and other venues of the like.
  6. Yes! I’m always on a wait, and see when someone comes to Boston to see how they handle playing there. Some embrace it, and some don’t.
  7. I’m still on the wait, and see mode on Yoshida, and how he handles playing in BOSTON.
  8. Noah Song opens the season on the Phillies IL, so they are still hanging on to him.
  9. I know it’s still ST, and it doesn’t count for anything, but it still doesn’t look good, and a little worrisome.
  10. Atlanta is a good hitting club, and their A lineup was in there today. There wasn’t to many games this spring that the Red Sox pitching faced the other teams A lineup.
  11. Bombs away too!
  12. Either way I don’t believe it will have much of an affect on the upcoming season.
  13. I agree with that being reasonable. Lots of things would have to go right to be any better. Anything’s possible though, but to me very unlikely. Hope I’m wrong!
  14. I thought that was Walmart greeter Sam Kennedy’s job he done such a great job at media relations.
  15. What’s the holdup with this? If it’s because Tapia isn’t on the 40? s***, or get off the pot as they say. This shouldn’t be that tough of a decision. Unless one of the OF get hurt, or really suck I can’t see much platooning going on, so the 4th, or 5th OF won’t play much anyway.
  16. I just don’t like the constant jerking around. If the plan was to make Houck a FT starter I could see, but I don’t think the plan once, and if all the starters are healthy is for Houck to stay there. Of course I’ve always been a proponent of keeping Whit in the pen too.
  17. I’ll agree with that, and I’m far from being a big Wink fan.
  18. Probably true since the piggybacking worked so well last year.
  19. If Whit, and Bello come back, and assuming Kluber, and Sale is still healthy, which is a big if I would think Paxton would be the odd man out.
  20. Houck is just a stopgap in the rotation right now until Whit, and Bello gets back.
  21. Duvall has never been a full time CF, and never really played there until 2021, so he only has 75 career games there, so we’ll have to see at now 34 how he handles that.
  22. Don’t they have to make a decision on Alfaro today on if to keep him, or not, and Monday on Tapia?
  23. The Kut Man did have a good stretch last year, and it may be just a short stint now, but more likely than not he’ll get another one before the season is over.
