    The JINX with a half truth. Why is it so hard to tell the WHOLE truth. I was told last week to live in the moment when the Red Sox were on a winning streak, but now when that moment is in a 1-5 streak it’s a different story.

    That’s one way to look at it, but to see both sides would be to say that even after a 8 game winning streak they are still in last place, and still 1/2 game out of a wildcard.

    Are you still doing the standings, and Wildcard rankings, or are you going to stop like you did last year? Recent 5 games, but the 8 game winning streak was top of the world. That’s why you always have to tell the WHOLE story. The good, the bad, and the ugly. The 8 game winning streak didn’t make the season, and getting swept in Tampa didn’t either. The sweep of the Jays, and the recent 5 games are just chapters in a long story too that hasn’t been finished yet, and that’s why I don’t get caught up in scoreboard, and standing watching this early in the season.

    Well you put the JINX on them for the second night in a row counting a win, which hadn’t happened, and ultimately never did. Hope you don’t do it a third time. Absurd yes!

    My only question would be if Jansen was completely healthy, or not. He was throwing 97-99 in Atlanta the other night, and hasn’t looked the same since. I had a bigger problem with Cora letting Blier face the top of the order Friday night.
