    No it’s not no matter what happens fault is found. It depends on what the turnout is, like the teams standing in the standings. How has that looked all year? It bugs the hell out of you when Bloom, JH, or Brez gets blamed, botched, screwed up, or anything else you want to call it. That’s the way it works, and you’re not going to change that liking it, or not. In other words TDB, and cry me a river.😂😭

    I guess you don’t get seniority. Raffy for better or worse was the incumbent 3B since 2017. That doesn’t matter to you, but it did to Raffy, and Cora, and once again for better, or worse Cora would have put Bregman at 2B, because of that just like he did with Story for Xander. Raffy by all accounts played where Cora told him to play, and that’s what matters to me. You can disagree on the comments Raffy said to bresLOW all you want, but that doesn’t change anything to me.

    Gone over this already also. SF was a whole different situation. Raffy was going to a new team whom already had a good incumbent 3B. That fact changes the whole situation from Boston. Also Cora wasn’t the manager who knew Raffy best.

    We’ve already gone over this 1000 times already. Cora was right to not ask Raffy to play 1B, and putting all the facts together that we KNOW Raffy was justified in telling bresLOW what he did. How many years had they been looking for a 1B to replace an injured Casas? Most likely Cora, and players on the team were thinking what Raffy said. Once again more that justified IMO.

    OMG NNN. There is a BIG, Big, Big difference in the money between Soto, and Flintstone Schwarber that it’s not even a close comparison. Come on Man!🙈

    Still hung up on that insubordination thing. That’s funny considering Cora never asked Raffy to play 1B. I never heard Cora being asked why, or given his reasons, so everything is nothing, but pure speculation why. Of course that hasn’t stopped everyone from speculating.

    While there was interest from other teams it was reported that the Red Sox was the only other team to have made a firm offer before SD swooped in and swept him off his feet.

    Murphy on the other hand makes no sense for the Red Sox even if he was making $5M the next two years+ let alone the $15M he’s owed. He’s been rolling down hill the last 3 years.

    Possible, but I don’t know if Con Man was being shopped to everyone. Could have been a Brez/Bloom thing like even with Sonny Gray.

    Most likely the Red Sox would have made a better offer to Alonso if Bregman wasn’t in the picture, and I think he could have been had, but even though they could I doubt Con Man would have still been in the picture. It would have made a good middle of the order though.

    We agree, but that’s why the Red SOX only offered a half ass offer to Alonso, because of Bregman.

    I agree, and that’s why I said Bregman being Plan A was the problem all along, and money was set aside for him that ended up going to Ranger instead of getting the needed another big bat.

    Duran would have had to been traded, and Alonso the DH.

    The problem was that Bregman was plan A all along, and money was set aside for him. I know Schwaber was probably not going to leave Philly, but the Red Sox never made an offer. They still could have made the Con Man deal, and also signed Alonso, and then made the DUBin deal if they couldn’t have worked something out for a 2B/3B with a Duran part of the deal. Alonso, and Con Man would have been a better option than Bregman, and Con Man.

    Con Man was fine, but the original plan was adding him with Bregman. Con Man, and Alonso would have been more than fine.

    Signing Alonso instead of Ranger, which was suggested before the offseason even started.
