  1. Most likely they moved him off 2B, because he was not that good, and wanted to take advantage of his speed, or his butterfly catching abilities in the OF.
  2. Losing Story Land was a big blow to the D. I know the Red Sox were counting on Story’s RHB to produce in the middle of the lineup, but that was far from a certainty. The rest of the lineup looks pretty weak at the moment especially not getting much from Raffy, and GOshida has been mostly NOshida. Starting pitching has looked pretty good so far, but there is still a long ways to go in the season for it to hold up.
  3. Exactly. If before the season they said the Sox would be 7-5 at this point in the season most would have been happy with that. The big swing in the mood swings are something else. Giddy to gloom, and doom in a second.
  4. Then why are they trying to extend him. I think Casas has a lot brighter future than Houck, or the Kut Man, and Brez decision not yours.
  5. More stress, and strain throwing all that sweeper stuff?
  6. Or you either, and that we agree.
  7. At any rate I don’t think they are on the extended list right now, and Casas is.
  8. Before the season started were the Kut Man, and Houck hot commodities? Now after a couple of times through the rotation they are?
  9. Casas comes first to me.
  10. All known, but he still has to prove more to me.
  11. Houck would still have to prove more to me to get locked up to an extension. Just, because Bello, and RAF Man has been extended, and Casas is being discussed I don’t think the Red Sox are going on a big spending spree for everyone.
  12. You give unconditional love to pretty much all prospects. Seabold was one of your favorites.
  13. Let’s just extend the whole starting rotation. All of a sudden the Red Sox are supposed to be worrying that Houck is going to have a great season, and should lock him up now?
  14. Let’s see how Kut Man, and Houck finish out the year first, or if they finish out the year.
  15. Really? After 12 games? Wow!
  16. He likes playing ping pong, and he practices his serve to the IF when he is going bad.
  17. Fortunately the Red Sox had candidates banging on Sam’s door to take Bloom’s place. Brez popped out of the Cracker Jack box, and won.
  18. Looking for that darn 3rd option in the fork in the road. Cora’s vouching for Bloom I guess wasn’t enough to keep him either.
  19. Story Land 1 year, and NOshida the next.
  20. JT’s bat was huge in the middle of the order last year, and it wasn’t replaced. They maybe was counting on Story Land to fill that void, but that was far from a certainty anyway, and now even that’s gone, but as we all know that Brez will figure things out.
  21. It’s only 12 games into the season, and the Red Sox are 7-5. They just lost 2 games to a good team. They beat teams on the West Coast that aren’t good. One day people are posting all the good stats, and standings, and suddenly it’s all gloom, and doom. Hilarious!🙈🤭. 12 games in, and a 7-5 record, so be happy with that. I don’t think any big changes are going to be made this early in the season.
  22. Abreau hitting for anyone at the moment isn’t good either. Casas is starting to hit a little, but outside of Duran, and the Big O, and both C there hasn’t been a lot hitting.
  23. Like I keep saying they are playing the cards they have dealt themselves. NOshida at the moment at DH, and Raffy at 3B, and I don’t see Cora moving Raffy anytime soon. At the moment both aren’t hitting much of anything either, so it makes things even worse. Both got off to slow starts last year, and both will hit sooner than later especially Raffy.
  24. No one has a clue what Grissom is going to be like at 2B, or anywhere else.He got taken off SS for a reason, and it wasn’t for all the hype he’s been getting on here. You keep say Raffy would be a + on D at 1B. There is nothing he has done at this point to suggest that would be a good move. Largely ridiculed for the suggested ways to improve 3B? I wonder why? Maybe it’s because those suggestions would entail spending money, which the Red Sox aren’t doing at the moment, not to mention other moves like the $300M man moving to 1B.🙈🤭
