  1. Baltimore had many losing 90+, and 3 100 loss seasons to get to where they are today. Those 3 100 loss seasons have been since 2018.
  2. When does anyone over reach on here?🤭🙈
  3. Yes that could happen that they could get better, but other teams could get better as well, but I’m not going to write the season off before it even starts, or the postseason if somehow they manage a appearance before they even start either.
  4. If Nate was f’n good in 2021 fine.
  5. The Red Sox made a pretty good dent in 2021 without an ace.
  6. Who was talking about the last two years. I’m talking about 2024 hopefully.
  7. Even if it takes baby steps like a winning record, and a postseason appearance is better than the last two years
  8. Good points, but like I’ll repeat again at this point I think most fans will take just getting into the post season.
  9. As I stated before I think most fans would take just getting into the postseason, and take their chances. Your way is why even play the season at all?🙈🤭
  10. I still don’t like, and I don’t think it’s clever. My opinion, and I approve this message.
  11. I’m still surprised they spent that much on Gio.
  12. Most times you don’t bring someone in to a ballgame unless they are needed. You don’t know whomever you use as an opener on any given day would be needed in the first place.
  13. It may be your opinion, but who’s to say it’s the correct answer?
  14. How do you know that you would even need your #8 BP man in the game at all? Using him as an opener just doesn’t make sense to me. That’s the obvious difference to me.
  15. Who said anything about a complete game???
  16. I think the Red Sox are content at this point to go with what they have now, and hope, and take their chances that things will somehow work out with the rotation.
  17. The point to me is if you just use a starter in the first place you might not even need 1 inning from the Bern Man at all, or any other opener. Nothing clever about that scenario at all.
  18. We’ll see. Pivetta has been good at times before, but he’s never had the consistency over a full season. It’s a contract year too, so sometimes that works out as a good thing.
  19. I’m going out on a limb here, but I don’t believe the Red Sox believe in that concept, and if they do they’ve done a pretty poor job implementing it.
  20. The point I missed was you saying guarding the 1st, and 3rd base line was the same as the shift. As for the opener in baseball in my opinion it’s the stupidest thing that baseball has come up with.
  21. 🙈🤭🤮!
  22. Exactly. Like I’ve said outside of Gio, Bello, and maybe Pivetta the rest are just cheap options, which the Red Sox love, and probably all of the rest will get a shot at various times this year.
  23. It took him a long time to get Bailey as the pitching coach.
  24. If the SP is that bad that the BP long relievers have to come in, and go 4+ innings very often it’s not going to matter that much anyway.
  25. Seems like the only thing Bloom was bold on was Yoshida.
