What a difference a new owner makes.Think a new one for the Red Sox would do the same?

Great trade for the O’s, and they didn’t even have to give up their best SS prospect to get a good pitcher. Looks like the O’s are getting an A for the trade while the Brewers are getting a C-B.

Great pickup for the O’s, and even if it’s just for the here, and now. New owners might do some spending, and not hold the team back like the old owner did.

But I thought Lester, and JH were buddies. I didn’t hear that JH said goodbye to anyone else out in the parking lot.

The John Lester contract would have been fine for half the price.

I’ll admit that is to many, and to many tit for tat ones, but I was told for over 2 years that I was such a bad fan, because I criticized Bloom, and the Red Sox so much, and some called it bashing, but look at all the bashing that’s gone on by many on here the last few months, which is worse than what I had been saying about the Red Sox. Double standard maybe. I have said many times that I like to get as many opinions from as many different places as I can get, and yes god forbid sports talk shows.

Nobody says anyone has to engage with with anyone at anytime, so to me if if the only way you can refrain from responding is to be put on ignore is go for it. I read what everyone says myself,and it always seems people who put me on ignore seem to respond if through other people. Like I’ve said before I’ve been on message boards, and forums for many many years not to mention local talk shows, and I’ve never had any such trouble at all. Never been called a hater, a basher, or a DISDAINER to name three. I have showed many people at PF, and the BA so many volleys back, and forth on here, and other people just shake their head in disbelief on what is said, and analyzed, because of it. LMAO doesn’t even come close to the responses I get, so that’s why I don’t put much stock to the responses I get. It’s like I talk with the grownups at the club, and come back home get on here, and I’m at the kiddie tables. I’m sure some on here have been like they are long before I come on here.

By mentioning box scores, or an eye test sets off bells, and whistles, or saying i wouldn’t have rehired Cora, because of the cheating scandal, and I’m called a hater is being a troll then I’m guilty. If that’s bothering people then I’m guilty, and proud of it. Congrats to you too, because you just added nothing to this subject.

You seem to be the only one that cares about this stuff. Most fans that I know, and hear care about the WL record of the big league team. I frankly could care less if Bloom had to replace the whole 40 man plus overhaul the entire farm system.

Bailey is going to coach up the pitching staff, and the infield D is going to get coached up. What can go wrong?

You do all this worrying about discrediting when you do it yourself. As for Moon I’m just calling out a PAF. Got any old Sporting News (newspapers) that I can check the box scores in? Those were my favorites.

He has said the 20+ so many times the last two years, and I’m sure he believes it, because it fits his narrative on Bloom. Probably says it in his sleep too. There’s no guy like Bloom, there’s no guy like Bloom.

My point with Bogey has always been if they would have locked Bogey up to a better contract when he signed that 6 yr with no opt outs he’d have two more years to go right now that would have gotten then to Mayer.

That’s what I keep saying. Betts, Raffy, and Bogey should be the foundation now, and then added to that.

Bagwell, and Biggio turned out to be right didn’t they?While neither are a MD they both knew a thing, or two about throwing arms, and elbows. Story was ramping up his throwing to play SS before last season, and that’s when he hurt again, which most likely would have happened if he had played SS in 2022.

There is NO strong argument for not wanting to sign Betts. If Betts would have signed with Boston if everything was equal is still an unanswered question.

Liar? Sam had to step in for Bloom this year, and LIAR sounded better than being AWESOME.

Wow! With all the boo hoo going on here the last month, or so with all the front office, and ownership bashing that I was told was so bad, and being a bad fan when I criticized Bloom I would say it sounds like some of you need a hug from Sam, or Tom, which probably would be better than a cookie.

Just like JBJ’s lack of hitting was due to facing different pitchers in a different park in a different league when he went to Milwaukee. Bad part was he couldn’t hit when he came back to Boston either. Must have been going to a different park in a different league facing different pitchers again. More than a head scratcher.
