  1. Where is the money coming from?
  2. He’s never going to be a Boomer Scott, or Agon with the glove, and he’s still young enough to get better.
  3. Just wasn’t good enough playing that Green Monsta.
  4. I’ve watched some, and I haven’t seen him make any errors. I remember a picture of him last year stretching forward for a throw from 2B that went sailing over his head. That was bad.
  5. No, but don’t you expect more out of Raffy at this point than you do from Casas?
  6. He hasn’t been a problem at 1B so far this year like he was last year.
  7. Maybe $300M reasons why.
  8. The Red Sox have had some CF with weak arms. Damon, and Jacoby come to mind. Reggie Smith came up a a 2B who had a cannon for a arm, and turned out pretty good in the OF, as did Mookie, but your right that running fast does not always equate to being a good OF.
  9. Most likely they moved him off 2B, because he was not that good, and wanted to take advantage of his speed, or his butterfly catching abilities in the OF.
  10. Losing Story Land was a big blow to the D. I know the Red Sox were counting on Story’s RHB to produce in the middle of the lineup, but that was far from a certainty. The rest of the lineup looks pretty weak at the moment especially not getting much from Raffy, and GOshida has been mostly NOshida. Starting pitching has looked pretty good so far, but there is still a long ways to go in the season for it to hold up.
  11. Exactly. If before the season they said the Sox would be 7-5 at this point in the season most would have been happy with that. The big swing in the mood swings are something else. Giddy to gloom, and doom in a second.
  12. Then why are they trying to extend him. I think Casas has a lot brighter future than Houck, or the Kut Man, and Brez decision not yours.
  13. More stress, and strain throwing all that sweeper stuff?
  14. Or you either, and that we agree.
  15. At any rate I don’t think they are on the extended list right now, and Casas is.
  16. Before the season started were the Kut Man, and Houck hot commodities? Now after a couple of times through the rotation they are?
  17. Casas comes first to me.
  18. All known, but he still has to prove more to me.
  19. Houck would still have to prove more to me to get locked up to an extension. Just, because Bello, and RAF Man has been extended, and Casas is being discussed I don’t think the Red Sox are going on a big spending spree for everyone.
  20. You give unconditional love to pretty much all prospects. Seabold was one of your favorites.
  21. Let’s just extend the whole starting rotation. All of a sudden the Red Sox are supposed to be worrying that Houck is going to have a great season, and should lock him up now?
  22. Let’s see how Kut Man, and Houck finish out the year first, or if they finish out the year.
  23. Really? After 12 games? Wow!
  24. He likes playing ping pong, and he practices his serve to the IF when he is going bad.
