Being a Folk Hero does happen pretty quick on here. Kike was one, but if Cora was the best Manager after just one year he must have beaten out John Farrell who was pretty good after 1 year also.🙈

I’m not overly impressed with the RAF Man yet. I see him make better catches in Portland. He hasn’t climbed any walls robbing anyone of a HR yet, but that’s probably coming.

I said at the time of the Jansen signing it was a good move, but maybe a year too late. I was yelling for the Red Sox to sign Jansen in 2022. -
Yes, you keep repeating that, but one reason the Red Sox got off to a bad start was because Cora didn’t have the team ready to play especially the pitching staff, which he ADMITTED, and learned from that.

Just like a Wink prepared as a starter. The will most certainly a need for more starters as the season goes along as some will drop with injuries.

Whitlock would still be in the pen if Gio hadn’t gotten hurt.

The vibes are definitely better after a few wins on here then they were most of the offseason especially since the Red Sox didn’t spend on any of the top FA starters.

Like I’ve always said he was the last man standing out of Betts, and Bogey, so it was more a necessity. If he would have come up for contract first he most likely would be with another team right now.

Are you comparing what happened on the Red Sox opening 2019 West Cost trip with this years? The 2019 A’s had the likes of Semien, Chapman, and Olson who all hit 30+ HR. Now the A’s are not much more than a minor league team. Outside of facing some good starting pitching in Seattle the A’s, and Angels aren’t good teams. Some were concerned before this trip even started about the horrible things that could happen, but I think opening up where they are is a good thing for them to get off to a good start not to mention better baseball weather.
