    The rotation has been better than advertised no doubt, but the BP will most likely not make the season on the innings, and pitches thrown so far pace. Martin is already sore.

    No dispute that O’Neill is a better OF, and if he can match Renfroe’s production that one year then great, but O’Neill has only played 100 games once in his career, so I would wait to see how this season plays out.

    They’ve had no problem getting RHB producing OF the last 3 years. Renfroe, Duvall, and short sample O’Neill. Let’s see how he ends up at the end of the season.

    Big difference just like when Cora was just saying the other day that the team was playing good D in ST. BIG difference.

    Agree, and they have to keep yanking people around, and playing some who should be down in Worcester, because they did not have a reliable backup middle IF.

    Rumors were they were trying to unload many. Martin, Jansen, Story, NOShida we’re all rumored.

    I was all for bringing him back. To think Story was going to replace his bat in the middle of the lineup was foolish.

    True enough.15th in runs, 17th in hits, and 2nd in K’s, and it seems if they are not hitting the HR they are not generating much offense.

    You still don’t get the point. The fact is the Red Sox didn’t, and wasn’t going to do what you suggested. Why is that so hard to comprehend? If it makes you feel better, and obviously it does to suggest things that won’t happen, and the fact is it didn’t happen then key away. The LBJ trade was put in, because that’s something that shouldn’t have happened, but did happen, and you was all for it. You keep being hung up on if the Red Sox should have done what you suggested. My point was, and is they were never going to. I could have suggested the Red Sox do what the Dodgers did, and sign the Big O, and the Yam Man, but I knew they were never going to, so I didn’t. To each it’s own.

    The RAF Man is playing SS today, so we’ll see how it goes. Raffy back in the lineup too.

    That’s never been my point. The point is, and has been all along that the Red Sox, didn’t, and won’t do any of your suggestions, and has been all along. It’s just as simple as that. Would Chapman be a better 3B than Raffy? Yes. but the Red Sox were NEVER going to spend money to sign him, nor was all the changes that would have to be made going to happen either. We’ve already went through all this before when you suggested Chapman. IT DIDN’T happen.🙈🤭

    Bobby D can’t hit a lick, but at least he’s making the routine plays at 3B, which I’ll take at this point.

    So by me pointing out of all the bandwagons you’ve jumped on the past few years that didn’t happen, shouldn’t have happened, or won’t happen led you to the conclusion that I’m on board with the team coming in last?? Well if that’s the case then the people who are, or have been running the Red Sox who haven’t made of any of your suggestions except for your favorite JBJ trade that was a cluster in itself must feel the same way, so your criticism of me is also a criticism of them. Conspiracy theories you are great at, but there should be a statute of limitations on many things you can get wrong.

    Last year it was the Gallup Express, and earlier it was the Chapman Express, and he loved the JBJ trade bringing him back to Boston too. Now it’s the O’Neill Express. All that didn’t happen, or shouldn’t have happened, or won’t happen.

    Some of the guys on the Sox like NOshida, and Abreu made their stats look better yesterday against a bad pitcher, but I guess he wasn’t bad enough, because Bobby D didn’t get a hit, and now is 0-16 with 10 K’s. At least he’s making the routine plays at 3B though.

    Raffy out of the lineup again today. If his shoulder has been bothering him since ST it’s probably something serious enough that a few days off here, and there isn’t going to fix.
