  1. Good news? The word on the street was Bloom was hard to deal with when he was with Boston, and always wanted to much in trades, and that’s why so few trades were made especially on expiring contracts.
  2. What you would do, and what the Red Sox will most likely do is two entirely different things, and I think not.
  3. Ah Lester. Henry wouldn’t pay him, and then turned around, and paid twice as much for Price.
  4. There doesn’t seem to be many around these days.
  5. Words are meaningless, and actions are what counts the most. Management can say full throttle, and then when they don’t live up to perceived expectations some call out sham, sham, sham, which is blasting management. Not constructive at all, and pretty much pointless. That we agree on.
  6. Then why would you say to call Houston in the first place?🙈🤭
  7. No, but I’m not asking what Brown’s stats are, but what would the stats look like for an ace these days.
  8. What constitutes an Ace these days?
  9. Like I said I was shocked that the Red Sox spent as much as they did on Gio. Anything over $10M is high for the Red Sox to spend, but $20M doesn’t get you what it used to.
  10. The Red Sox brass at the season’s end press conference say a lot that don’t really amounts to much, and then do even less.
  11. Red Sox. If Houston called it would be a short discussion.
  12. Under $20M I wouldn’t call expensive, but I’m still shocked the spent what they did even though he was part of the Sale deal IMO using that $10M. If Gio’s back, and they’ll probably stick Whit back in the rotation again too knowing them.
  13. Boston is NOT going to sign, or trade for any expensive pitcher IMO.
  14. Brown is the real deal worth Casas, and Abreu? BTV tell you that? No phone call made by Brez.
  15. To this day we as fans don’t know the whole Mookie saga, and all we know is he is gone. What did they offer Mookie, and what didn’t they offer Mookie. Did Mookie want to stay, or didn’t he want to stay. Like I’ve always said Raffy got the money, because he was the last man standing. Devers Forever, or Never Devers take your pick.
  16. The Red Sox have been a losing team out of the postseason for the last three years. Let’s just keep everyone, and stay that way. That’s absurd to me. Duran is not going to make, or break the Red Sox if he stays, or not. Package him, and Raffy I don’t care as long as it improves the team. I was attached to Red Sox players when I was a get, but not anymore.
  17. No! I’m just saying there should be no untouchables in a trade to improve the club. You have a problem with that Agent Bell, because you have an attachment to Duran, which I do not. Last year you were an Agent for Monty, and this year it’s Duran, and don’t try to stretch things like you did yesterday, and say I said there was a Guaranteed replacement for Duran if he gets traded. I don’t give a damm on who goes, and who stays as long as the Red Sox get better. That’s all. Nothing more, and nothing less.
  18. No Agent Bell selling high would be to improve the club. Whatever it takes to Improve the pitching, which will improve the club. No untouchables, and that includes Duran, and that includes Raffy. The Red Sox are not going out, and sign any high priced FA IMO, so trading is the cheapest way to go. The Red Sox have finished out of the postseason 3 years in a row with Duran, and with Raffy, so let’s make some trades to try, and improve. Get better, and then you might get richer. Win, win for everyone.
  19. Not a chance of a phone call even being made.
  20. No! Hunter Brown, and who, and how many others?🤮
  21. Is it as simple as that, or would it be more complicated than that? How many other moves would have to be made to make that happen even if the Red Sox wanted to try it? All those questions should be asked, and answered, because it makes all the difference in the big scheme of things, which I’m guessing has something to do with why it hasn’t happened. Lots of moving parts.
  22. It would be accurate to say Cora, and the front office DO NOT see the D as a big enough problem to make drastic changes to fix. After 3 years you’ve finally figured that out. What took you so long?🙈 Make all the suggestions, and ideas you want though, and maybe get a suggestion box, and the suggestions can be gathered, and sent to Brez.
  23. It doesn’t bother me to hear your suggestions, opinions, or predictions. All I’m doing is pointing out the obvious that the Red Sox are not doing any of the above, haven’t done any of the above, and most likely are not going to do any of the above. Why? You’d have to ask them. I’m not even saying any of the above is not good ideas, but what’s obvious to me is the D may be a concern to Cora, and Brez, but not so much that they will make big changes to fix it. Going on 3 years now is more than obvious.
