  1. Fortunately the Red Sox had candidates banging on Sam’s door to take Bloom’s place. Brez popped out of the Cracker Jack box, and won.
  2. Looking for that darn 3rd option in the fork in the road. Cora’s vouching for Bloom I guess wasn’t enough to keep him either.
  3. Story Land 1 year, and NOshida the next.
  4. JT’s bat was huge in the middle of the order last year, and it wasn’t replaced. They maybe was counting on Story Land to fill that void, but that was far from a certainty anyway, and now even that’s gone, but as we all know that Brez will figure things out.
  5. It’s only 12 games into the season, and the Red Sox are 7-5. They just lost 2 games to a good team. They beat teams on the West Coast that aren’t good. One day people are posting all the good stats, and standings, and suddenly it’s all gloom, and doom. Hilarious!🙈🤭. 12 games in, and a 7-5 record, so be happy with that. I don’t think any big changes are going to be made this early in the season.
  6. Abreau hitting for anyone at the moment isn’t good either. Casas is starting to hit a little, but outside of Duran, and the Big O, and both C there hasn’t been a lot hitting.
  7. Like I keep saying they are playing the cards they have dealt themselves. NOshida at the moment at DH, and Raffy at 3B, and I don’t see Cora moving Raffy anytime soon. At the moment both aren’t hitting much of anything either, so it makes things even worse. Both got off to slow starts last year, and both will hit sooner than later especially Raffy.
  8. No one has a clue what Grissom is going to be like at 2B, or anywhere else.He got taken off SS for a reason, and it wasn’t for all the hype he’s been getting on here. You keep say Raffy would be a + on D at 1B. There is nothing he has done at this point to suggest that would be a good move. Largely ridiculed for the suggested ways to improve 3B? I wonder why? Maybe it’s because those suggestions would entail spending money, which the Red Sox aren’t doing at the moment, not to mention other moves like the $300M man moving to 1B.🙈🤭
  9. Depends if it’s a Mark Belanger type, or not.🙈🤭
  10. As MVP will tell you the Red Sox had a f***ton of holes to fill.
  11. I said exactly that I heard a couple of days ago it wasn’t a sellout, but I don’t know if it stayed that way.🙈🤭
  12. As a fact Malzone was the last player to win a Gold Glove before Brooks went on a 16 year run.
  13. Oh, I have said that before, and even brought up Boggs name too who didn’t start out as a good 3B, but got better. I was just bringing up an old Sox name like Malzone like I did the other day asking Max if Piersall was the best CF he had ever seen with the Red Sox.
  14. The Kut Man, and Whit didn’t make 5 the last time out. The BP has had plenty of work already.
  15. I think past history on the starting 5 did not leave anyone to get all that excited that they would be any top 10 starting staff who would last physically, and pitch well for a full season. On the other hand after just 1 time through the rotation all kinds of bells, and whistles were going off, and one poster called it the best rotation in RS history. Talk about a small SAMPLE size. Every game counts, but let’s see how the staff is holding up, and pitching on Memorial Day. 2 starters have had injuries already.🙈🤭
  16. Malzone was the 3B that I can remember when I first started watching the Red Sox. I don’t remember that much about him, and was just throwing an old name out there to Max who’s been watching the Sox longer than I have.
  17. I never said attendance had dropped, but only why it hasn’t like it should have.
  18. Not just a Sham poster, but a Sham, Sham, Sham poster. It’s like Sheldon knocking 3 times on the door.🙈🤭
  19. Everyone knows why Raffy is getting $300M, and the fact that he has been charged with ONLY 1 error certainly does not mean he has made all the plays at 3B that he should have. I think you’ll admit he’s no Frank Malzone with the glove.
  20. Sure they do, and Red Sox fans are everywhere, but that doesn’t change the fact that more opposing fans have taken over Fenway the past couple of years, which has been seen, and mentioned on the broadcast, and in the papers.
  21. Don’t forget the small built for comfort seats.
  22. Can he make the routine plays? That’s what should matter most. Imagine if Raffy could just make the routine plays.
  23. The only reason that attendance hasn’t dropped as much as it should have is because the opposing teams fans are coming to Fenway in bigger numbers, and especially last year. I heard a couple of days ago that yesterday was not a sellout, so I don’t know if it stayed that way, or not.
  24. What about Cora’s Run Prevention Unit that he created this year? It doesn’t appear to be working out all that well at the moment.
  25. The best rotation in Sox history??? 🙈🤭🤮
