  1. Mayer promoted to Woo!
  2. Man the lifeboats looks like MOOn is getting ready to bail again. MOOn’s opinion, prediction, or suggestion, and it doesn’t matter, which one it is says We’ve dug a hole that is perhaps already to deep. One thing about MOOn is you can tell, which way the wind is blowing. Blowing up North, and MOOn does his Candy Lauper impression, but blowing down South, and he might not be able to climb out of that deep hole, and it’s time to bail, and it’s only Aug 11. Just flip flopping away as usual.🙈🤭🤮
  3. We’ve dug a hole that is perhaps already to deep? Are you bailing again? It’s not even Sept 1 yet. Wow!
  4. How fitting it is that Brez picked up Paxton hitchhiking when he was driving in the breakdown lane, and now Paxton is broke down.🤭🙈
  5. You can suggest, or predict all you want, and you will always be wrong as you’ve been time, and time again. You’re the biggest phony, and fraud that I have ever come across in my 60+ years of anything to do with sports talk radio, message boards, or anything else you can come up with. You are so afraid of being called wrong, so you parse words, and try to specify on what is an opinion, suggestions, or a prediction that no matter what it is it’s still wrong. You try to come across as a Red Sox super fan, but yet you bailed on the team in 2022 the big front runner that you are. Once again you are just the phony, and fraud behind the curtain, and except for the stats you throw out there all your predictions, suggestions, or brain farts NEVER happen , or come true. You also are a BIG Liar who said since I’m on your ignore list you wouldn’t answer my post through other posters yet you constantly do. Once again Mr. Wrong, Mr. Wrong they keep playing your song, and worst of all that stench you brought up to Maine with you is still residing in the air Stinkin to high heaven.🙈🤭🤮
  6. Predicting, suggesting, questioning, opinions it’s all the same with you, and YES you can be wrong, and you do it all the time. Since the AS break things have pretty much turned South just as they had gone North before. Things are just evening out. It works both ways. You can’t be Cyndi Lauper all the time as much as you’d like to.🤭🙈
  7. From the man behind the curtain who’s pretty much wrong about everything. It doesn’t matter what you want to call it either an opinion, a suggestion, a prediction,a recommendation,or your everyday brain fart looking for his first real idea. It’s not a gift, but a curse. Wash-rinse-repeat over, and over again, and that’s what should get you, but it don’t.
  8. Bello on paternity list, and Criswell on the Covid list. Criswell was supposed to start tomorrow.
  9. Parse all the words you want, but it really DOESN’t change anything. Grissom has plenty of years of control left to play for someone else. Mayer is coming sooner than later, and Story Land has 3 more years to stay open on his contract, so I don’t see how he will have ample opportunities to win a job on the 26.
  10. I don’t know how anyone could come to any other conclusion TO DATE. So far the trade has been awful. Down the road the trade may look better, but the here, and now are what most fans are looking at. Grissom has contributed very little at all, and the Red Sox are paying $17M for Sale to pitch WELL for someone else not to mention the Red Sox could have most certainly used Sale’s good pitching for themselves.
  11. Who’s said anything about giving up on Grissom? The discussion to me is that Grissom hasn’t done much of anything yet in a Red Sox uniform to warrant to come up, and play now over guys who have been somewhat producing in the middle of a postseason battle, and it’s really as simple as that, so STILL, YET AGAIN over analyzing.
  12. One thinks he should be just handed the job, because he was traded for Sale. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
  13. 2025 all depends on if Mayer is ready, or not, and the health of Story. If both are I don’t see any role for Grissom on the Red Sox. Keeping him at Woo, or traded most likely depending on if he produces, and stays healthy himself, which at this point isn’t any more likely than Story.
  14. If the Red Sox thought Grissom was ready, and would contribute more than what they have now rotating through 2B they would have kept him in Boston when his rehab time was up, but they didn’t, and the paper work said back to Woo you go. You seem to have a Big problem with that so take it up with Cora, and Brez. As I said a few days ago I don’t care who’s playing 2B on a nightly basis as long as they are producing. An article in USA by Nightengale ask if the Red Sox have buyers remorse for not keeping Sale, and trading for Grissom. I’m thinking yes on that one.
  15. The point being that Grissom hasn’t proven he better than what’s out there at the moment, and they’ve been playing, and contributing, and he hasn’t.
  16. Grissom was activated off the IL, today, and then optioned back to Woo. Like I said earlier he hasn’t earned any playing time with the Red Sox yet up to this point.
  17. The arm doesn’t know what level of baseball you are throwing in. All pitches thrown are wear to the arm.
  18. Agree, Like I said before just, because they have reached new career highs in innings pitched doesn’t mean they still shouldn’t be able to pitch.
  19. Criswell will probably be first man up, and then Wink. If it gets to have to be more than that then it’s on to 2025. It’s a bad time to be resting the starters now, but the way some have been pitching it looks like no other choice.
  20. Maybe just maybe the Red Sox don’t value Grissom as highly now as when they traded for him, and who’s to say he’d be better than Sogard at the moment, or DHam either. Grissom certainly hasn’t earned any playing time yet.
  21. You do the worrying over Grissom, because I really don’t care who is playing 2B on a given day for the Red Sox. Like I said earlier all have contributed at one time, or another, and at the moment the Sox are playing good ball with the So Man at 2B, and yes he’s contributing in the short stay he’s had so far.
  22. Where did I say 2B was all set? I said the need isn’t as big now as it was when the trade for Grissom was made, and many have passed through 2B this year, and all have contributed. Is there room for improvement? Yes, but I don’t see Grissom as that answer. If he is, and comes back, and proves it great, but I’m not going to think about it either way.
  23. A lot has changed since Grissom was acquired. What Breslow saw as a big need at 2B at the time just isn’t there like it was before. There has been many pass through 2B this year, and Grissom himself, which wasn’t a very good audition injuries aside, but others have now gotten chances, and have contributed. Grissom is fine right where he is in Woo. I don’t think there are now any long range plans in Boston for Grissom unless the Red Sox somehow unload Story, or he gets hurt again, or someone else gets hurt.
  24. True, but no one is getting traded until the offseason now. GOshida is hot now, and fame can be fleeting, and he can turn into NOshida again, and go back to hitting ping pong balls to the IF. Like I keep saying playing time, and where tend to work themselves out on their own, and if not it’s a good problem to have.
  25. Agree on GOshida, and at least we’re not hearing all this just giving him away, and eating a good chunk of his salary.
