    You have to remember that Garcia came from the Angels , so he's not familiar with holding a lead to win the game

    Triston is big enough to move Dom out, but I am concerned it will take him a good while to catch up with MLB pitching, maybe not. I would not consider dropping Dom until I saw what Casas can do despite the overload of LH bats

    Twins lose, O's lose, Yanks rained out, good a doubleheader, Mariners trailing Tigers 1-0, Rays lose, Astros win. Overall a good night if the Sox can get 6 outs quick

    Casas may be hard to live with in the next locker on a day to day basis for 8 months. Seems to be hitting the ball at WooSox. But can he move Dom Smith off the bag???

    Booser in the 7th is becoming a regular thing. Credit to Brez and/or Bailout because CAM was a dumpster dive, overage/ underperformed, who has turned into a MLB grade RP.

    Bello has become a 5 inning thrower , if that long, without much "pitching" skill . He didn't get bombed tonight, but he is a bullpen burner. Pedro really needs to work with him this winter. However, he is already rich by any Dominican ( or USA ) standard so why does he need to do any better ?

    I call Dom, MACK, in honor of the truck he resembles as he rumbles around the bases. BUT, he was safe and kept the line moving.

    Keep in mind the Red Sox are still STARTING 4 rookies on any given night. Amazing that they can compete, but not so amazing that they look at K3 with men on base

    Just imagine if you can that Brayan Bello pitches 6 more shutout innings, or even gives up a solo HR, Sox are winners tonight. Won't play out that way, but it's OK to dream

    Story and Grissom, if he is actually alive, could balance that lineup back to a LH/RH alternates. I'll believe in Grissom when he does something for this team, and Story when he logs 135-150 games in a season.

    Yoshida throwing a lot of questions out there with his hot streak ( after the 0-11 in TX) . Could he be tradable with 3 years left on an $18 million/year contract ? Or should he be kept as a high contact OBP type with sometimes power ?

    Duran, for all his attributes has not done well in his initial AB lately. I'd love to upset the 1st inning by getting the pitcher distracted right away. A few too many K's in the initial leadoff lately.

    I think 3 or all 4 are very likely to be Rule 5 pickups postseason, and there was no real place for them on the 40 man roster
