  1. So Red, now you become the comedian on here
  2. F'ing incredible job by Kelly and Booser. I actually feel bad for Cora to have to even call the bP for these slop throwers
  3. Sorry but have to go on record as saying I am not a fan of Zack Kelly. I do not care about his stats . His appearance/ demeanor is one of a loser
  4. He will be an integral part of the 2025 team , but needs to hit .250/.725 with some doubles/HRs to keep his position under control. If Grissom flops at 2B, then the musical chairs will begin. If Story doesn't hit, he could get moved over to 2B
  5. The Detroit pitcher gave the wrong Oriole ( Gunnar) a cookie of a pitch and he ripped it, but Tigers hung on to the 1-0 win with Henderson standing on 3rd
  6. Potentially an excellent find who should do all possible to be ready for ST and compete for a role in '25
  7. Typical No Hit Bid--- a 1-0 game in the 7th. Eflin just now being pulled for the O's
  8. So they have a few guys who can't go the distance. No Field of Dreams for Red Sox. I would certainly shut down Houck rather than risk any shoiulder injury, despite the long off season available. Ironic that if the bats had not taken early retirement this year and won 5-6 more games, we would still miss the WC because no one can throw anymore.
  9. I wasn't questioning AC's tactics on holding the tie, but after the quick inning I thought we might see Kenley for at least 1 or 2 in the 10th The hitting is atrocious and another missed opportunity to make a move. I called it over when they lost the Sunday game to the WS
  10. Winckowski got the short straw in the BP roulette game. You took one for the team, Josh.
  11. That inning went south when Abreu decided that the first pitch low and away would be a good one to get Casas over to third. These young free swingers may connect on ocassion but show little baseball sense in their approach.
  12. What is disappointing in the 9th is that you burn up Jansen just holding the tie, and your best outcome is going to the 10th . Not much meat on that bone
  13. Won't take too long to get weary of watching Story flail away at the plate .
  14. Watch Cedanne and Devers this inning pull the gsme out with big hits. Duran has no chance to get on base , he is cooked
  15. The K's and just swing/miss particularly on FB's over the plate are astounding
  16. All somewhat marginal guys with some good days but low reliability over a long season. Unless they are part of a trade package, you will likely see them in Ft. Myers, watching all the really great guys Brez will bring in. Bernandino appears to have some loose bodies floating in his elbow ( per Cora) , so he may have surgery anyway.
  17. Excellent effort and results from Cooper C. He has been consistent over his last few starts. The bats simply need to get in the game as usual. Always waiting til the 7th/8th to scratch out a run or two
  18. Who thought we would be congratulating Devers for his defense, but if there is nothing else, then go with the D.
  19. I was hoping for 5 and with only 1 run, that is great for Criswell. He gets away with a lot. A better hitting team would pound him, LOL
  20. Criswell will be challenged to get this one through the 5th inning, meaning an extended BP session. Great
  21. Story's numbers , including pre-injury are really poor . His last 7 since returning show an OPS of .377, which would be good if it was his BA.
  22. Sox pitching defined by the 1st inning HR, so they can play from behind, while the Sox hitters treat the first like a plague.
  23. Judge is actually in a deep slump with NO HRs, only 4 RBIs in last 15 games and an OPS in the .600's Meanwhile Ohtani has gone nuts in NL very near a 50-50 season.
  24. I fully agree. There have been several opportunities since the A-S break to get a run going and move into, not trailing the WC race, but the team never really put that together. The mutual hitting slump as the starting pitching came back around is a backbreaker . The bullpen has coughed up a lead after the 6th inning 19 times so far since the A-S break. Terrible record.
