  1. Only to get beat by a player who had a pocket pair of 3's , and a turn of another 3, followed by a 3 on the river.
  2. Crochet's original shoulder inflammation morphed into a lat strain as he tried to work back in, but now his condition morphed further into rotator cuff problems. He is doing exercises to help this, but has not thrown baseball #1. It is probably a 50-50, maybe 25-75, that Crochet is not on a mound in 2026 . Anthony suffered his torn finger ligament on May 7, now 74 days ( 10+ weeks) . It should have self repaired in a 8-12 week period . Sox sent him to Ft. Myers to get him away from the influence of M. Mayer . I am thinking he should be rehabbing baseball skills by mid August with a return around Labor Day, having contributed nothing to the team's recent run of success.
  3. If he cannot be packaged in a bigger deal now , then hold him until Anthony resurfaces or season ends then deal or drop him. Jarren could get hot but then he might be fully baked.
  4. Watson is a buzz killer, sloppy throwing trash master. This should have been Bello
  5. Sox BP has also been a key part of the Streak. never blowing the win. And it is several guys not just Whit and Chapman Maybe the Rays are just a real crappy hitting team. maybe not ?
  6. When you get eliminated by NYY. it feels like misery
  7. Watson for the 9th, while Bello is ignored. Not sure where Brez is going with him. Trade. WooSox. Saving for the next injury?
  8. Sox BP has also been a key part of the Streak. never blowing the win. And it is several guys not just Whit and Chapman Maybe the Rays are just a real crappy hitting team. maybe not ?
  9. Caminero is pretty good on D, big arm. big bat. can run 5 Tools !
  10. This 4 game set was a huge test and maybe the Rays are just sleepy but hard to see them as uncatchable by Sox or NYY. The Sox are passing the test
  11. It is easy to see why Sonny G was left off the All Star roster. Total bizarre selection process.
  12. Are there many opinions out there as to whether the firing of Cora and the plugging in of the INTERIM Tracy made any real difference? Recall that the Sox went from 7 under quickly in April under Cora to 14 under by late June under Tracy. 17-2 since. Or was it firing Driveline?
  13. I heard a rumor that Anthony is too
  14. BULLETIN: NO SOX PITCHER HAS TAKEN AN "L" IN A LONG TIME (OVER 2 WEEKS)
  15. Signing Bregman over anyone would have been a major error . I'll take what we have now but they did test all patience before July
  16. Congrats to Willson, Imagine if we had 2 like Contreras or Abreu to rotate through DH.
  17. Breslow's primary advisor sitting next to him , working on the trade desk
  18. Ahh, the difference between a thrower and a real pitcher.
  19. to be DFA'ed ? Oh wait, Anthony is not quite ready
  20. The only defense of Duran's late start was that he had to be sure Mono was moving. OTOH, he had a big lead
  21. Duran's doing nothing to impress another GM. Speed is great until it fades
  22. Mono should have been called out on strikes, then doubles to tie it up. Duran must start doing something again. Of course, he is AVAILABLE which others are not
  23. SS or 2B, you could list the same crew . Durbin may well have locked down 3B, and Willson has 1B. Casas is no factor
