Eovaldi is being super efficient at 38 pitches and 2 DP's have kept things calm. Getting Stanton quick after Gardner was a good idea. But, still looking for hitters against a first time starter

How do you get 3 innings on 33 pitches ? Throw good strikes like Eovaldi. Or play the Yankees on a Saturday afternoon with Devers, Swihart, Kinsler , Sale , Erod on the DL and Pedroia just moved to the 60 day DL make room on the bench. Still need some consecutive hits here on Adams.

What I like about Austin Romine's catching is that he doesn't waste much energy trying to get to the pitch or ball after he misses it.

23 pitches through 2 innings ? Pretty efficient with the DP after the lead off walk. Guessing it will take 6 runs to win this one today.

Given the pitch count do you go with Rick and keep Craig ready or just straight to Kimbrel. The way Rick has shown command, I would have him pitch until someone got on base.

Crack(ed) Sox mediacal staff always starts with hamstring tightness, moves to day to day, followed by 10 day DL and 15 days missed.
