    Assuming his knee can be stabilized and function day to day, I'm sure Pedey will be prepped to be on the active roster and available for spot duty when the rosters expand in September. I'm guessing he could play now but not as a regular, maybe PH'er or one game at a a time.

    As mentioned by others, the September schedule is difficult including series with the Braves, Astros, Guardians, and 6 games with NYY, all likely playoff teams . But prior to the final 3 games with NY at Fenway, there is a 3 game set with the Orioles and a day off. Therefore and depending on what the standings are, Cora can reset the pitching rotation to lineup the best 3 vs NY, obviously including Sale and Porcello. The question will be if Price is in that mix for a critical game vs. NY Sox also have Jays and White Sox in September, but overall it will be a tough finish line to reach leading the AL East.

    A good time for the KC series allowing Moreland and Devers a little time, if needed , to feel right again. Pearce is proving to be no disappointment at 1B

    I wouldn't call TB's .500 record past the halfway mark , nor even Toronto's .465 record as "poor" , especially since they have to play 38 games vs Sox and NYY. The AL East , scusing the o's, is still a formidable division. In the AL West , 4 of the 5 teams are over .500 , but the Central is the dog show with 2nd place Twins 12 games under .500 but only 11.5 behind Cleveland , who should be arrested for grand theft of a division.

    No excuse nor reason not to pound Hammel just like they did to Sonny Boy gray in support of Sale. Should get 6 runs in 6 innings and give Sale the win and rest of the night off. Let Thornburg get his feet wet and start the process of determining if he will be part of the answer or a bigger question mark.

    Was it Henry or Lucchino's horrific self (Bobby Valentine's buddy) that drove Theo out the door. Tito was probably made the fall guy for Larry as well. Never forget that Francona and Epstein set the table for a great bunch of idiots to accomplish the WS wins that nobody since Babe F'ing Ruth was on the Sox roster.
