  1. Smoak predictably smokes him. Where is Pearce, we may want to re-swap.
  2. Ryan Brasier, the one guy who did not work last night. let's see if he has the zone figured out.
  3. Love to see JBJr rip a nice double down the right field line
  4. I was hoping JDM reached the 100 rbi mark there, but gladly take the run scoring single. This guy is a stud
  5. Absolutely, now it's another butt scratcher of a finish.
  6. Take a marginal guy who gives you a great, confidence building start and f*** him by not knowing what to do. Your bullpen is tired ?? They should be after last night. Oh boy now Kimbrel can get another save. No excuses on leaving Johnson in after the forst base runner
  7. f*** Cora and his management style
  8. How could Cora not have someone ready. Game's not on the line but Johnson's arm may be
  9. Remind DD to never go trading for Diaz. That was a Nunez type swing
  10. May be time to go get Brian. Looking a little arm weary now at 90 pitches
  11. Cora speaking to his bullpen ?? Or just compliments to Brian J. ?
  12. It must be like the vacuum around a tornado when two serious suck teams play in the same park
  13. Another twist on this season is that the Red Sox lead MLB in wins with 5 LH'ers who have started multiple games. That's not typical for a Fenway based team.
  14. White Sox score two runs in the first over NYY. Should have scored them in 13th last night
  15. Johnson needs this inning to get in line for a win that will even up his record at 3-3. Like to see a full six if he can get it. Then the bullpen denizens start their parade again.
  16. To look at the obvious stats, there is little comparison between Johnson and Pomeranz: Johnson IP's 69 ER's allowed 27 ERA 3.52 K's 64 BBs 22 WHIP 1.42 BAA .269 HR's 9 Pomeranz 51 " " 36 "" 6.31 K's 44 BBs 32 WHIP 1.81 BAA .299 HR's 10 Draw your own conclusions about who has the ability to get it done with their skill level
  17. HP umpiring, an inconsistent truth. Stuff is whatever the ump thinks it is. Get some, lose some
  18. Jays not missing Pearce when Smoak smokes Boston as is happening often
  19. Hauschild hits Betts---Red Sox hit back big time.
  20. Mitch is coming back when it counts
  21. Not funny, ******* rookie
  22. Johnson and Pomeranz are both LH'ers. They both throw slow teaser pitches. What's the difference in both reality and perception ? Johnson works quickly and throws strikes with his slop stuff (14 in first 20 pitches)
  23. No wonder his bat is a little bit off the last week.
  24. It usually is. Actual Sox players often don't arrive until the 7th inning, then takes one or two to warm up. If they didn't use these imposters early, the league would have to ban them for being too good.
  25. Going against another young "newbie". Will they make him regret his chosen line of work or make him think he has an HoF future? Should be a good shot for Johnson to get a win.
