You're right. Teel is dead to us. So is Crochet in a sense
  2. vegasbob
but rusty and still a thrower. not a pitcher.
  3. vegasbob
I am thinking this is the B lineup for Boston and it is rusty. Bradish is not Cy Young. It may be a loss in the making but it can clarify the use of some players

They needed Suarez back today but for sure Friday

It will be fun to see the hitters for Boston overcome the Rivera curse with an 8 run game
  6. vegasbob
Rivera says screw your streak, I suck A keen observer knew he would be a barking dog. You could feel it coming
  7. vegasbob
True but my father told it was no big deal

Rivera gives up the freebie. Get Bello hot if he is still alive Dislike hacks who cannot pitch with 2 outs. 2 strikes
  9. vegasbob
Rivera should ask Bennett about 1st pitch strikes. Rivera is a AAAA thrower. All breaking balls. few FBs Botched bouncer for a hit loads the bases

Uneasy over this game with Rivera. Need a lot of scoring tonight

Yankees lose game 1 to Pirates.. Getting tighter in the ALEast

Tracy says Suarez is not quite ready to activate. I say he will need another lap of the rotation. Sox players do not quickly return

Williams had a very good final season too, after a poor one in 1959. and he had to play the field in order to hit
  14. vegasbob
Mr, the DP was not the final play
  15. vegasbob
Wow. I was born in 1946 but don't recall the streak that year being such a big deal. Ted's season and a rare pennant dominated. A WS loss was the bad news

Chapman has not been sharp lately, gets bailed out again by Cheng. Congrats on a record tying team.
  17. vegasbob
Chapman needs to throw strikes and be quick. then let rain come if it wants

Bennett getting sloppy and getting hit Good decision by Tracy

And Teel, no longer with us, joins Crochet on the IL .. Campbell is the true mystery. But got paid anyway. Incredibly bad decision. Mayer may never have been a great player in the making. Something not quite right with that fellow. Anthony ? Meet reality, now get healed and play your contract.

If Bennett had the gut some Phatboy pitchers do, he might not have found that ball
  21. vegasbob
One of the incredible things about the streak is wins with Seigler, Cheng and Gonzalez in middle IF

Hit that one pretty hard too. Nice recovery by Cedanne

    Predictive text, edited it asap.

Could not agree more. Half the site is begging to dump Yoshi's and Story's 1 remaining year but wanting to take on an aging SS at a similar price , even after subsidy from Mets. Also concerned about the extreme confidence in the early (2027) rise of Arias without question. Shades if Roman A.

It was a sunscreened power double by O'Neill The 3rd out that Cedanne did track was the one that counted
