  1. Wong and Chang with 3 hits. Devers 0-3 but should get a turn this inning
  2. Great time for Wong's hit, nicely done and very CLUTCH
  3. No question Duran had to be running
  4. Jansen for the 9th, who has the 8th ( Schreiber?), only 6 outs needed for a series win
  5. The ability to throw a ball at 97 , does not make you an effective pitcher. Just throw harder next time Kaleb, and I am sure there will be one
  6. Ort throws the game away. McGuire could have blocked that. This reliance on ORT who has little control or4 command is keeping us at .500 ( or just below). 3 walks, it doesn't get any better.
  7. Kind of had the feeling this was where the wheels came off Bello's effort. Nothing a DP wouldn't cure
  8. Casas would help himself by not pulling his body out towards first and just tried to make hard contact up the middle.
  9. As a baserunner, Wong is a good catcher. Been watching Vazquez video I guess
  10. Tellez is a loser except when hitting vs Boston
  11. Bello, in the first, looks more like a thrower than a pitcher. Still very young and a virtual rookie. I do think he is quick to get unsettled and takes a while to recover his poise
  12. One thing about pitching, as we wait for Bello, is that sometimes pitchers get wins they don't really deserve, sometimes circumstances overcome a good pitching effort and sometimes the pitcher just flat loses the game for the team. That's what Whitlock unfortunately did yesterday, especially in light of 4 one hit innings from the bullpen. Garrett blew that one, and the lead/winning run came from a bases loaded DP induced by Bleier, after Garrett loaded them without recording an out
  13. Dugo made a very smart move to beat a very good throw.
  14. Making Burnes work hard in the first. Now convert into run(s)
  15. Absolute, irrefutable numerical evidence that our guys only hit when it counts, lol. Better to be lucky than good. Great is a whole other level
  16. Well, at least McGuire didn't mess up the 7th . Neither did Crawford
  17. I think he can be very good offensive player but as an OBP guy , not a HR threat. He needs to slash at the ball and make hard contact , and then don't get picked off. We need 6to view him as a mature "rookie" who needs to go around the league (s) this year to adapt his game.
  18. Keep digging the hole Garrett. Get a doubleplay right here
  19. Dugo robbed of a CF big hit, Kike cannot return the favor. That was a Yelich rare rocket
  20. Whitlock has allowed hits/walks in every inning, some with runs allowed. Also not helping Wong with holding runners
  21. Yu Chang is the least likely HR hitting dude in this lineup, but when you look at him next to other players, Yu is one big boy.
  22. I watched a little of Tellez hitting for Mexico, I believe, in the WBC. He couldn't hit anything, but he does love Red Sox pitching. Whitlock not showing anything today.
  23. Wink has the most relief innings in AL ( or MLB) . Not necessarily where you want to find your stats in April.
  24. Yes, once again Miley keeps the bats and baserunners mostly quiet after 3.
