    I don't think they can go much further than mid-May if Casas cannot start being productive. He may just need to go to WooSox to relearn hitting. Bloom should be well along shopping for a LH hitting 1Bman to alternate with Turner.

    Now, other than the 3 run ( 2 walks on base), 2 out HR allowed to Bichette, Kluber is pitching a fine game.

    Corey seems to be another of those pitchers who need innings to contain only 2 outs, not the traditional 3.

    Good observation. Yoshida had Vlad Jr out by 4' Carried the tag into the body , not the arm. But then Valdez is incompetent in the field. He does hit and run though Blue Jay fielder appears to have made a similar mistake on Valdez's stolen base.

    Casas does have some serious issues that he needs to cure. Constant 3-2 counts, foul off a couple then take strike 3 on a borderline pitch. It's one thing to have a sharp batter's eye and the patience to wait for your pitch but at 2 strikes he needs to be swinging, even it just runs off 10 fouls.

    I always thought the '78 one game loss to NYY was the worst single game I ever watched personally, and it still is. But the Bruins Game 7 OT loss to the soft as silk Florida Panthers was 1A. Terribly bad finish to a season that now doesn't matter. The Leafs will probably flush Florida in 4 , with 4 shutouts. Will actually save me a lot of time/grief not watching hockey for a long while

    A good HR power guy will get about 25 Hrs in a season. That's 1 less than 1 per week It's ok if you have about 4 of those in the regular lineup. The hitters were put to sleep today.

    Got to start this one early, going to Las Vegas tomorrow, will be on the road. Undefeated Tanner Houck (3-0) going for the Series win vs Tyler Wells , low ERA @ 2.70 and very low WHIP at 0.69 over 23 innings in 3 starts/1 relief. Let's bury the O's and take Thursday off.
