You can't seriously want them to lose to get a higher draft pick??? Thats insane. The baseball draft is a total crap shoot. Many high picks never see the majors. Its not like the NBA or NFL. I want them to win now. Forget a higher draft pick.

That was disappointing. Their pitcher made some pitches. Wilson and Giolito did not. Last night Weissert did not. Thats the difference between winning and losing these close games but four innings left.

No one likes it when they lose but I'm still hoping they do well every night. I don't hope they lose or miss the playoffs like to seem to want. That's not being a true fan.

And a bad throw he scores. Take the chance in the first inning, especially with one out already. Story has less than a 30% chance of getting a hit to drive in the run. That run looks huge now doesn't it?

Wong should have went on contact so I have no issue with that. I do have a problem with not being aggresive in the first inning with one out. And you don't have to be a jerk.

Sox may not win this game but fans should be encouraged by seeing three young lefties, Tolle, Early and Harrison who, along with Crochet and Bello, and others, could give the Red Sox a very good pitching staff in the future.
