    It could be worth up to 230 million so if he performs well he will earn that. Do players that perform poorly (i.e. Carl Crawford or Pablo Sandoval) ever redo the contract to take less money???? NOOOOOO! The Red Sox are taking a risk and Anthony is guaranteeing himself to be rich beyond his wildest dreams. There won't be any renegotiating!

    Alcala DFAed and they call up Isaiah Campbell. Isaiah Campbell SUCKS!!!! He may be worse than Alcala. Just wait and see. His career ERA with the Red Sox is horrible. 14 earned runs in 8.2 innings. This guy can't pitch.

    Rafaela has the potential to be a star. He has improved dramatically from last year. His defense is outstanding in center and he is good in the infield. Sox were smart to lock him up. Anyone who thinks he doesn't belong here does not know baseball.

    Sucks to pay for MLB Extra Innings and then have the game on ROKU. I have Peacock, DirecTV. Amazon Prime, Youtube, Paramount Plus, Disney Plus and ESPN + and can't get the game.

    This bum's ERA in the first inning is over 8. He has the Sox out of most games after the first inning. That kills a team. Apparently nobody in baseball wanted him at the trade deadline for a bag of balls.

    Fred: If you are a real Sox fan I would think you'd stop referring to them as the Flops. They have won more WS titles than any other team since 2003. They have over achieved so far this year and they have a great nucleus of young players.

    Sox got the #33 pick in this year's draft who turned out to be Marcus Phillips from Tennessee. He will have to be better than Priester or the trade is a disaster because the Class A outfielder is hitting about .220 in low A.
