  1. But, I'm done talking about Cedanne. We all know that he is having an all star caliber season after being a very good, improving player the last two years. But
  2. No, you said you can't win World Series with guys like that. Obviously, you can.
  3. Phil Rizzuto posted a career OPS+ of 93 over his 13-year Major League Baseball career with the New York Yankees. [1, 2, 3] Yankees won 7 World Series with this guy at SS. I could find hundreds of examples of guys with OPS+ less than Cedanne's that have started for World Series winning teams.
  4. Ozzie Smith finished his Hall of Fame major league career with an adjusted on-base plus slugging index (OPS+) of 87. [1] Career OPS+ of 87. What a bum. Can't win World Series with guys like that.
  5. Don't let the facts get in the way of your narrative, Fred.
  6. In 2026 the major league batting average is .244 for all players. He is above average in all categories and he is the best center fielder in baseball.
  7. Rushing should yell at Muncy and the third base coach that Muncy should have ran on that pop up.
  8. Averaging 15 HRs, about 66 RBI, .257 average, with 50 games left this season. Gold glover. Double figure stolen bases each year. 29 other MLB teams would love to have him.

  10. He never sucked. He has always been a gold glove CFer, who can play SS and 2B. He was a young hitter who had to learn the strike zone. If you had been the GM you would have traded him ten times. Glad he is still here.
  11. You've been saying that for three years. How does crow taste? :)
  12. Probably Michael Felger because he loves everything Milwaukee and he hates Boston teams. I can't believe that he is on a Boston talk show. He and Mazz and Big Dumb Murray have a terrible show. All negative.
  13. Durbin continues to rake. He has looked like a completely different hitter the last 6 weeks. The Harrison trade isn't looking so bad now. Red Sox have 3 big leaguers playing tonight from the trade. Also, now looks like they are going to win the Quinn Priester trade with the Brewers. John Holobetz made his AAA debut last night and won. He will be pitching for Boston soon. Also got Marcus Phillips and Y. Rodriguez in the trade.
  14. Great win. Bello does the job. Cedanne with a huge HR. Tracy making all the right moves. 21-4 in July. Keep it going boys.
  15. Should have sent Durbin. Make the A's make a play. Especially with Wong coming up.
